Everything about this afternoon has set something off in me that feels overwhelming and panic inducing and depressive and I can’t breathe, I feel like I could snap any minute and it all hurts and I’m so so so tired. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want this. Whatever the fuck “this” is

Dean's reply as acted - explained
One more time for those bashing the acting or the reply.
This is right after Cas says "I love you":
We see Dean turn ever so slightly tilt his head as if saying
"Please, don't..." because it means you're leaving me.
And we see that hard swallow and narrowing of the eyes. The tiny frown. He looks like he's holding in his reaction, like he's on the verge of crying. And we all know that clenching swallow one makes before it all spills. And he shakes his head ever so slightly, as if saying...
"Don't. Don't love leave me."
And then it spills.
You're welcome.
+Bonus
The reply he didn't get to say:
(hint - you can see him mouth the I that would have followed, aka "Cas, I...")
Part 2 (sort of) here.
P.S. Gifs aren't mine, just borrowed them from various other posts.

I think what most posts are missing about Destiel is that it’s not “A queer character confesses his love and then goes straight to hell,” it’s that “The queer character announces that his true happiness is being in love with the straight character who will never love him back, whom he’s pined after for years while sacrificing everything and being treated terribly. Even as he’s about to die, the queer character tells the straight character how he’s the best person in the world, and that he’s blissfully grateful to die for the rare scraps of comarederie the straight character threw his way. Meanwhile the straight character is dissociating thinking about college football and trying not to hate crime, and THEN the queer character goes to mega hell, which he accepts as the best fate he could hope for.” Now THAT is the essence of Destiel and THAT is the rep we’ve been waiting for.

Me: Oh no it’s 2am! Maybe I should put my book down and go to sleep.
My brain:
Me: *continues reading*
