Welcoming New Media in our Generation!

The biggest challenge for us students is to cope up with the new trends in media. Media is fast-growing, which means new techniques and applications are presented to us everyday. To be able to fit in as everyone, we needed to expand and open ourselves to new knowledge, skills and abilities.

Best opportunities as surely offered bu the new media. Fits for us, the new generation!

Since we often spend our time on the internet, the bright and shining opportunities are waving at us! Jobs and employments are offered online without much requirements as in real life. Students can express their talents and hobbies online such as journalism, photography, arts, game development and other media-related stuff.In addition students can also sustain their needs by selling online.Thrift shop is a trend nowadays by using different social media platforms.

As we all know that in todays media there are positive and at the same time negative effects.But if we use these positive effects it will surely lead us to the best challenge to gain the best opportunity.We as user are also responsible on how we use the social media. We need to know the proper etiquette of it and we need also to give ourselves a limit because with todays media, one click can change everything.

"I Am Part Media"

Its like waking up the next day and I already discerned to a position who is subjected to various criticisms, feedbacks and evaluation, either in a positive or negative manner.Well, it is what it is, either I'll stand upside down or otherwise, still it resulted to similar corollary- "I am part media". I am not the only one who is part of media, we are all part of it.However, it varies from one person to another due to several reasons like the purpose why we use media.Is it for up-to-date news? For business ?or For entertainment?

Have you ever ask yourself? "Am I using media in a good way or unconsciously not?".A reflective question it is. As we all know there are variety forms of media tools, each of it contributes in our daily lives.But some individual makes media put in a bad light. Spreading fake news, promote individualism, addiction and worst is, it can destroy a reputation.

Just imagine, if the world is full of Media and Information Literate Individuals. It would be nice to surf in the internet, to watch television, to read magazines and newpapers without facing negativity. Media would be a safer place to share and communicate without the hindrance of any problems. As users of media we should value and practice what it takes to be a Media and Information Literate Individual.Not just for our benefits as individuals in this advancing generation but also for the future generations whose more expose on high technology media adaptation.

So start the wave now! Be a Media and Information Literate. Think twice and think nice!
