2017.04.02 is Nakamura Reia’s 20th Birthday!! legally adult! for his birthday celebration, we present a translation of the latest interview from Myojo with the 4 boys.

Producing Fuu's graduation trip!

This spring, Takahashi Fuu graduates from High School! As such, the guys come together to celebrate ♬ The four of them will talk from their first encounter with each other, about Fuu’s new life phase (?), the replacement plan for graduation trip. Relaxingly, let’s have fun together!

Matsukura: Fuu, Congrats on your high school graduation!

Fuu: uh. Thank you.

Genta: it was in a blink of eye.

Reia: that’s right. It has been 6 years since i met Fuu. When was the first time we met (with Fuu)?

Fuu: Right after i joined Jimusho. At the nearest train station of the rehearsal place, i have the impression of Reia’s back view.

Reia: I cannot say “ah~~” in agreement because I won’t know that i was being seen from my back.

Fuu: But I don’t really remember our first face-to-face encounter? Afterall, there was so many people around in the rehearsal room

Genta: that is true. Is the same for me. My impression is just being the same batch as Fuu, that is all.

Fuu: During that period, we still have name tags on. That is so nostalgic~

Reia: When i first taught the dance move to Fuu, after seeing Fuu dance, i was like “this is bad. He is better than me!”. Fuu has breakdance experience and I am bad with dancing so I asked others to teach him instead (laugh).

Genta: hahahaha, that was mean!

Matsukura: Does Fuu has anything that you want to do after going into university?

Fuu: I want to wear same clothing everyday.

Reia: Ogyaru!! (汚ギャル term for a Gyaru (gal) that is dirty, that doesn’t shower or change their clothes.)

Fuu: is not that. I have been wearing uniform all these while. It will be good if I don’t have to choose my clothes in the morning. However, becoming an university student, I have to think about my clothes everyday.

Reia: ah~ I think it is fine to have a few pieces of the same clothes. Steve Jobs (founder of Apple company) also have several pieces of the same clothes.

Fuu: eh~~ then i shall do so too!

Genta: For me, i will choose the clothes based on my mood when i wake up.

Fuu: Generally, that is the case for most people (laugh)

Reia: Choosing clothes the day before is probably for excursion.

Matsukura: I always decide my clothes the day before. I will check the weather for the next day first.

Fuu: that is smart to check (the weather).

Reia: During Johnny World butai in 2012, i will wear my clothes for the next day to sleep!

Genta: eh!?

Reia: because everyday have to wake up real early. It takes time to choose clothes and I don’t like the cold when changing clothes so i will wear denim jeans to sleep (the butai was in winter).

Matsukura: sounds uncomfortable to sleep in.

Reia: that is true so I don’t do it anymore.

Matsukura: by the way, Fuu what is your plan for graduation trip? I did not have one.

Fuu: My close friends are going into the same university as me, so there was no plan for one. Probably will do one when we graduate from university instead.

Genta: Then just the 4 of us, let’s go and play!

Fuu: Let’s go. Definitely! (hooking pinky fingers with Genta). Who will be the organiser?

Reia： Matsuku! The most dependable one.

Matsukura: OK! Everyone, what do you want to do?

Reia: I just thought of something fun! Let’s go and play at everyone’s house sequentially. Then we will rank everyone’s house in term of hospitality level.

Fuu: that sounds fun!

Reia: we will check the underside of the shampoo bottle and see if it is slimy.

Genta: Isn’t this going to make things difficult for our mothers instead of us (laugh)

Matsukura: Then, I shall first introduce the highlight of my house. It is near the sea, we can go to the beach anytime !

Genta: Yeah!

Matsukura: Genta’s house has a pet dog, Hana-chan, it is very cute!

Fuu: That was a period when my phone screen was Hana-chan.

Genta: really !?

Fuu: You sent me a photo (of Hana-chan) in the cardboard, right?

Genta: Eh? Hana-chan cannot fit into cardboard though?

Fuu: huh? Wrong dog?

Genta: I don’t think it is Hana-chan….

Fuu: seriously…. (i’m) shocked. My house is suitable for late night.

Matsukura: Why?

Fuu: My whole family sleep late. My mum they all will not say “i am sleeping so stay quiet”

Genta: that is nice.

Fuu: but i will sleep first

Matsukura: eh? What time you sleep

Fuu: 12 midnight.

Matsukura: that is not early either.

Reia: My house has the latest game!

Fuu: ah~ that is great ♪ I want to play!

Matsukura: that is so fantastic!

Genta: Before we go to anyone’s house, we have decided (laugh). No.1 house is Reia!

For Matsukura Kaito’s 19th Birthday celebration, here to share a brief translation notes of random parts (not full translation) from Matsuku’s appearance on A.B.C-Z radio show dated 2016.04.26

Kawai: In this talk corner, we will get to have some serious talk with the junior. for this round, this jr is someone who I want to chat with, very energetic – Matsukura Kaito!

= fumi introduce Matsukura Kaito’s profile *please refer to Jr Data Book* and mentioned about Matsuku being a high school graduate this spring & had participated in Shock =

Fumi: You had joined Johnny’s in 2010. That is 6year ago. Surprising, it has been quite a long duration. you were still small.

Matsuku: Yes, when I was in the first year of my middle school, during autumn.

Tsuka-chan: back-track abit. you were born in 1997.11.14 right? and 18years old now. That was when I first joined jimusho.

Fumi: You had admired Arashi’s Ninomiya-kun before you join the jimusho?

Matsuku: Yes. I had attended Arashi’s 10th year anniversary concert at Tokyo Dome (2009). Watching the concert, I thought of standing on the same stage ….

Fumi: so that is when you start to adore Ninomiya-kun

Fumi: I am the same as you. Before joining jimusho, I went to Kinki Kids’ concert and saw Matsumoto Jun-kun who was a junior back then dancing on stage. We are the same Arashi Family.

Matsuku: Arashi family! Arashic desu ne! (あらしっく)

Tottsu: So you sent in your own resume under your own wish?

Matsuku: sou desu. (yes that’s right)

Fumi: when you see members of your same batch acting in drama while you are not being active, don’t you feel frustrating?

Matsuku: yes, very vexing!

Fumi: Right!? I understand. It feels very bad.

Tottsu: when you sleep, make sure you don’t grind your teeth.

Matsuku: no worry. I have no such problem.

Tottsu: must relax *during which matsuku keep saying HAI HAI – so cute*

Fumi: When you first joined jimusho, apparently you did not have much jobs for the first year.

Matsuku: while other juniors of my batch were called for Music Station, Shounen Club recording, I wasn’t being called for.

Tsuka-chan: is like you are the “juniors for concert backing”?

Matsuku: yes. I only appeared for probably just Summary.

Tottsu: is all about timing.

Fumi: but matsuku had the image of suddenly being actively appearing and dancing. Together with Matsuda Genta? (Matsuku: hai hai hai~) , dancing as shinme.

Tsuka-chan: you guys have backed from A.B.C-Z concert too right?

EBI (many voices): yes yes~ have the image of Matsuku dancing very vigorously

Tottsu: with a very enjoyable expression

Fumi: dancing style reminds me of the junior times of the 4 of us in A.B.C-Z (presume excluding hasshi)

Tsuka-chan: you like dancing?

Matsuku: yes~ I like to dance.

Fumi: whose dancing do you like?

Matsuku: eh… who… eh

Fumi: I supposed it is ….. Koichi-kun?

Matsuku: Koichi-kun, yes (fumi with his signature laughter)

Tottsu: you had went for (SHOCK 2015) tour with Koichi-kun right? Did you get to talk to him?

Matsuku: During the tour, I got invited by Koichi-kun to his room at the hotel. One-to-one talk (EBI got very excited, Tottsu: "YABA!" and ask what they chatted)

Matsuku: what did we talk… *thinking* (ebi starts to throw in topics to help matsuku to recall) Is not just about Shock. We talked about other stuffs too, like within Johnny’s related topic etc.

Fumi: we never had such experience (in talking to Koichi-kun) the rest of ebi: nai nai nai (no~ no ~ no ~)

Tsukachan? excitedly: what about his outfit?!?

Fumi: Naked?

Matsuku: no. he wore a bathrobe

EBI: ahhhh ~ like a prince

Tottsu: this is really a very valuable experience *sounded envy*

Fumi: there is Yara. and 4U too right?

Matsuku: and Uchi-kun. together.

Tottsu: Uchi Hiroki

Fumi: you must have been doted by them. They would have look after you.

Matsuku: yes~ they will call me “kaito kaito~”

Fumi: 4U like small kids~ Yara & 4U like hardworking kids. Kaito is with Morohoshi in Shock right? Cannot tell he is working hard HAHAHA

Hasshi: Stop it. morohoshi is working hard too.

Matsuku: no ~ not true~

Goseki: that kid is surely giving his best. He is Tsuka-chan type.

Tsukachan: Juniors nowsaday are actively involved in alot of projects. i am curious about your thinking like where do you want towards to? your dreams?

Fumi: that’s true. we don’t get to ask Juniors about such things

Matsuku: During Shock, we went to local places (i.e. Fukuoka). Shounentai’s Uekusa-san was the owner for the butai. I do not much understanding about Shounentai and so i went to check it out and got interested into their songs and dancing. Their songs, dancing and acrobat are perfect. I want to be an idol like them.

Fumi: Uekusa-san always fool around at backstage right?

Matsuku: he… did fool around.

Fumi: Deshou (the rest giggling in the background) in spite so but he was very KAKKOII when he was young right?

Tottsu: The dance steps he did on TV was once in fashion. (the rest: eh!) Shounentachi are splendid artist.

Fumi: let’s get Kaito to introduce the song he requested to play

Matsuku: Hai~ Arashi’s “Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi”

= corner to read listener’s letter and talked about their troubles/ concerns =

59yr old single male listener asked ABCZ to introduce girlfriend.

Fumi: Matsukura, how old is your father?

Matsuku: my father is … i don’t remember.. is forty something

Fumi: Matsukura, the V6 song Ai Nanda which we just aired, have you heard of this song ?

Matsuku: Yes. I had danced to this song before. on Shounen Club.

Fumi: Matsukura, are you doing okay? with all these (heavy feeling) letter listening.

Matsuku: Daijoubu desu

Fumi: there is a lot of different kinds of adult

Matsuku: i will learn to accept

Saitama 29yr female Momo-san. ABCZ is the first Johnny group she likes. Her husband is very angry with her. 4yrs old daughter will also watch Johnny’s DVD. her husband is worried and got really angry what to do if her daughter also like Johnny’s. Her husband will switch off the TV whenever there is Johnny’s and do not listen to Johnny song at all. can be considered as Johnny’s allergy. If this continues, she will not be able to go to Johnny’s concert.

Fumi: Matsukura, what can she do *laugh*

Matsuku: mmm what can she do… this is johnny’s allergy ne

Fumi: if we are in his shoes, being married and with the wife liking other Johnny’s, we are probably the same, being jealous.

Tsukachan: there is nothing we can do except.. to work hard *everyone else burst out laughing* we can only work hard to prove our strength to the husband and gain his acknowledgement

Fumi: how about letting him listen to this (radio)?

Tottsu: Or forcefully bring him to watch a Johnny’s concert together.

Fumi: Matsukura, whose concert will be good then

Matsuku: *immediately* that will be Arashi

Fumi: *laugh out loud* you are good! right in front of ABC-Z, you said Arashi.

Matsuku: Sumimasen ! *apologizing repeatedly*

Fumi: is okay, that is the correct answer. It is funny.

Hasshi: momo-san needs to first communicate to her husband that he is still No. 1 before bringing him to concert to let him understand the charm of Johnny’s and that is just an interest. *everyone agrees in unison*

Fumi: Sasuga Hasshi who understands women’s heart

Hasshi: Stop it

17yr old listener’s school teacher. 29yr man who dated a 5yrs older lady for 4yrs and have always not keen to get marry, had recently registered his marriage. when congratulating him, he looks very depressed. he was sort of being forced into marriage by the girlfriend and family. The listener who always think getting married is a very happy thing and was shocked to see her teacher in such unhappy situation. So she wants to ask ABC-Z about their views.

ABC-Z talked about reality and various considerations that you have when facing marriage.

Fumi: Matsukura, do you want to get married?

Matsuku: i have …. not yet to think about marriage now

Fumi: is not about now *laugh out loud*

Hasshi: is Fumi-san’s wrong in his way of asking

Fumi: Future! you do think about it for your future deshou

Matsuku: ah~ future. I do have the dream of having a family and kids.

Tottsu: You can watch Eddie Murphy’s “Coming to America”. You probably will feel happy after watching.

Fumi: with this, we have to part with Kaito. thank you for coming. How is it?

Matsuku: It was fun. I will like to come again. do invite me to come again.

Fumi: I have no image of Kaito talking so much. (the rest: yes. don’t have)

Matsuku: really?

Fumi: really easy to chat with

Tottsu: really feels good (from talking to matsukura)

Fumi: from now onwards, do your best for your junior activities and may you get to debut. Lastly, we have a song request from Kaito which is playing now. Shounentai’s Kimi Dake Ni. You like this song?

Matsuku: yes. i like this song. is a Johnny song that I will want to sing

Fumi: may you get the chance to sing it on Johnny’s stage and one day you get to have your own original song.

Matsuku: thank you very much

Fumi: that is today’s junior, Matsukura Kaito.

Matsuku: thank you!

Today 19th April 2016 is the 17th Birthday of Matsuda Genta !! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Gengen! For his birthday celebration, we are posting the translation of Matsumatsu cross talk in the latest Potato.

POTATO 2016.05 Matsukura Kaito X Matsuda Genta

To have proper breakfast in order to get energetic

Gengen：Though i had seen Matsukura’s face when he just woke up several times, but to be honest, i do not think that this is the real face!

Matsuku：erm~ what do you mean?

Gengen：not refreshing at all. Do you start doing weird face since morning?

Matsuku：... you are right thus i cannot rebuke. The reason for making weird face is because of my swollen face, i did not do it intentionally.

Gengen：approximately an hour later, finally you become Matsukura Kaito.

Matsuku：if this what you say, then you already are Matsuda Genta the moment you are awake.

Gengen：Because I am good with morning ♪

Matsuku：and you will shower properly and arrive at the venue with your hair all being set. While i am all being sloppy….

Gengen：Don’t you think it is better to come after you had bath? Your mood will get better too ★

Matsuku：Ah~ during the butai tour around (referring to Endless Shock 2015), I will shower every morning. To warm my throat, i will massage my neck and practice voice projection. It became a daily habit.

Gengen：I see. So you will take care of your own body since morning during tour. Are you relying on handphone alarm to wake up?

Matsuku：Yes, i wake up with my own effort. Usually when i am at home, it is definite that i cannot wake up depending on handphone alarm alone. So, i will ask my mum to wake me up.

Gengen：”Matsukura, wake up!” like this?

Matsuku：My whole family is Matsukura! (laugh) how about Genta?

Gengen：I need alarm clock to wake me up. Just for your information, my alarm ringtone is the voice of a character from an anime movie.

Matsuku：That’s very nosiy (laugh)

Gengen： That is a song that makes one energetic. All thanks to this, I can become American Genta from morning (laugh).

Matsuku：Talking anout alarm, recently I discovered that on my rest days, I can actually wake up 1 and a half hr later after the alarm rang.

Gengen：Erm, what do you mean?

Matsuku：For example, if i set the alarm at 10am, I will unconsciously silence the alarm when it rang. In the end i will wake up naturally at 11.30am.

Gengen： So it will solve the issue by projecting backwards? Just set the alarm at 8.30am so that you will wake up at 10am.

Matsuku：You will think that is the way right? But I will laze in bed. Eventually i will still wake up at 11.30am.

Gengen： You purely just want to wake up at 11.30am (laugh) This has nothing to do with alarm. In fact, it does not matter even if you do not set alarm on your rest day.

Matsuku：You will think so too right? But if I did not set any alarm, i will sleep all the way till 4pm. In that way, my body will get tired out.

Gengen： …. What a worrisome kid. (laugh) 。。。How about breakfast? Do you have proper breakfast?

Matsuku：Yes. Though there are times where I have no appetite despite i know i need to have a proper meal.

Gengen： This is no good. Is bad for health. How about eating your favourite food so that you will have appetite? What do you like to eat?

Matsuku：Stew Hamburger by my mum。（煮込むハンバーグ）

Gengen：So cute~ this kid♡

Matsuku：Stop it! (laugh) Honestly, if it is stew hamburger, i probably will have appetite for it. I will tell my mum about it. Genta should be having proper meal for breakfast, i guess.

Gengen： Yes. I am awesome. I can eat BBQ meat (Yakiniku) even at early morning. That’s why, I can be energetic.

Matsuku：That is very particular. Oh yes. I am currently taking Aojiru (green vegetable) supplement every morning. This has already became my daily intake. For Genta, what is the thing that you have to do every morning?

Gengen：Brushing teeth before meal. Because there seems to have germs in our mouth during our sleep. Thus, have to brush our teeth clean before eating breakfast. Sometimes, i did not rinse properly and there will be taste of toothpaste left in my mouth (laugh) Is it better to take supplement? Does it make you any better?

Matsuku：I see! It (the supplement) is of help especially during butai tour.

Gengen：Talking about butai, earlier on, I had went to watch ‘~SHOCK’ which Matsukura is in. Am I right that you are extremely enthusiastic that day because of my presence?

Matsuku：Har!? Is just that you have not seen the usual me on normal days.

Gengen：no ~ no ~ You definatey are putting extra effort. Even for the interaction with other dancers.

Matsuku：I have always been very diligent (laugh)

Gengen：But because I went, so you are more motivated? Right?

Matsuku：(impatiently) Yes~ yes ~~ (laugh) Ah~ On that day, didn’t the both of us went to eat together? That did cheered me up abit.

Gengen：CHEESE *gengen acting cute here*

Matsuku：The both of us ordered the exactly same thing. Spaghetti and Banana Juice. Are we dating couple!? (laugh) But that was indeed a relaxing time for me during the butai period.

Gengen：CHEESE . just that Matsukura ate quite slow so that the sauce was drying up and left a bit of the noodles. Are you a girl?!

Matsuku：I did finished everything in the end. On the contrary, Genta finished everything in a flash. That is so manly (laugh)

Gengen：CHEESE！！
