I feel like we all blow james and snape out of proportion

like yeah, james bullied snape. but guess what, snape bullied james.

Of course we saw the worst moments of James bullying snape, we were in Snape’s memory. We didn’t see the worst memories of James being bullied by snape- the guy made a spell to lacerate (and kill) people for fucks sake.

James didn’t bully Snape. They bullied EACH OTHER. I personally would say neither are more or less responsible. They were CHILDREN! We don’t know what started this. 

What we do canonically know is that Lily fucking Evans was a brave and kind person with a good taste in friends. And until Snape called her a horrific slur (this cannot be forgotten, horrific slur!!!!!) she was cool with him.

She ignored James cause he was being an annoying, arrogant posh boy, but she chose to give him a chance once distanced from her old friends (Snape) side, and then saw both of their argument.  And then ended falling in love with James. 

We blame Snape’s bad character on who he becomes. We hate him because we never saw what he could be. He was never given the helped all those children deserved. 

James died, we hate him since we never saw what he could be either, never saw the IMPROVED adult version of him. 

Whatever side you’re on… They were both children being pitted against each other. They should’ve been helped. But they weren’t.

I can do mac n cheese and microwave jacket potato but I notoriously have shit records in food tech but I 100% think that's because of the time restraints. Also I never really get to try because we don't have an oven because we've just moved into the house we built so atm we're running off of the air fryer (which idk how to use) the hob and the microwave...
