monday, february 21st, 2022 | happy monday, friends! I spent the last part of this evening working on a networks assignment after the assignment for my cybersecurity lab melted my brain (oh, self-modifing code, how you confuse me so…). today kind of went by in a blur, so I’m making sure to take care of myself tonight! february productivity challenge, day 22: what are your favourite colour combinations?

ironically i used to think the combination was hideous as a kid, but i love a good sage green and burnt orange combo at the moment!!

today i had my two in person lectures in the morning, dogwalked, sent some emails and worked on some flashcards. i didn’t get much schoolwork done, but tuesday is a pretty busy day for me with other commitments. oh and don’t let this picture fool you, he left after 2 minutes of this 🐈‍⬛

I accidentally broke a jar full of cocoa and had to clean up so I decided to clean the whole freaking apartment (immediately regretted this decision, but okay). I did laundry, cleaned floors, rearranged books, and washed dishes. Now back to studying 😭

It has been a long day. Fridays are for 8am-6pm classes and most of them are pharmacology. Most of us were asleep from 3-5 before our behavioral science class. 😂😴

Might not look like it, but February will be BUSY. It started with a night float, where we had some unstable, really sick patients, which are stressful but also such a learning opportunity. It’ll continue with my rotation at the surgical ICU, and will end with my IM board exam/Royal College exam!!! 😱 The past few months and the intense studying I’ve done will lead to two days of exams, and I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to being done with it haha. • What’s something you’re looking forward to in February?
