Am i the only one who got pissed by the fact she didn’t got to fight in the tournament and instead did the chearleader?
I don’t do fan arts often, but i want to get better at handling japanese model sheets
How do you keep your linework so straight and smooth (both digitally and traditionally)? This coming from someone who has real unsteady hands and can't do straight lines for anything
Well my lineart isn’t that smooth traditionally, I just clean them up on photoshop. a sketch before retouching looks kinda rough:
And I don’t know I guess I’m just lucky to have a firm pulse but generally I go over the lines until there’s one I like and then erase the rest. Focus on doing one firm stroke instead of several small ones because that’s how you get chicken scratches, but this is pretty personal and it varies from person to person, I think. Just don’t be afraid to make mistakes, it’s all trial and error. On photoshop it’s pretty much the same except you have the advantage of the tools (for those who don’t know if you press shift while drawing a line, it makes it straight. This has been a lifesaver for me.)
Drawing teachers always say you have to use your entire arm while drawing, not just your wrist, so fix your posture and draw with long strokes using your shoulder and don’t press too hard on the pencil. I’m not at that level yet but that’s the one professional advice I know.
both children: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
tumblr friendships are hard to maintain like im sorry i know i havent talked to you in 5 months but you’re still super rad and i still consider us friends im just dumb
oxford was built and operational as a college before the rise of the mayans and cleopatra lived in a time nearer to pizza hut’s invention than to the pyramids being built
You come to the realization that the tall metal fences surrounding the orphanage aren’t made to keep the children safe from the public, but to keep the public safe from what’s inside.
