You know what I love?  Redemptive story arcs.  I love characters who fuck up.  Who know they’ve fucked up, and it’s not because of something they couldn’t control or didn’t know - it’s because of their own choices.  And I love it when they are brave enough to stand up and say “I was wrong”, and then they spend forever trying to undo what they did.  To me that’s more important than heroes who never screw up, because I’m not perfect, so when I screw up and need the courage to admit it, I need people to look to who did the same thing.

If you don’t think Isabelle lightwood corners Alec as soon as he gets back from a date with Magnus to get all the juicy details then you are 100% wrong.

Ok Dr. Phil’s wife, Robin, (yes groan, but listen up) has this new app out (iPhone and Android) that’s for people in abusive relationships. It’s called Aspire News and it’s disguised as a regular news app, but when you go to the “Help” section of the app, it leads you to domestic violence resources and also has a “Go Button” that when you press it, if you’re in a compromising situation, alerts local authorities as well as local shelters and starts recording everything that is going on.

Now, if you’re looking up resources on the app and your abuser is near, simply press the X button and it brings you to a random news page. Same goes for the actual foundation site.

I think when you take away magnus immortality his body starts to get older and turn into dust at the end ( dark i know XD) because if his magic is strong enough to keep him young we wouldn't be talking about his immortality nor will it be a problem in the book ( I haven't checked the book so correct me if I'm wrong) thats one theory, or magnus magic keeps his body young and being immortal just a plus to it and when you take it away it makes your life span shorter and faster but he can live up to 60 years more , after all he lived for a sentry his body is pretty old so his magic might be strong even with the immortality gone he can manage 60 more years , thats what i think though it might be all okay and his magic is what keeps him young .

But in all seriousness, I don’t know. It could be that Magnus’ magic makes his body look young even though it ages internally – but that’s not true either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Y'know… this part really got to me. Magnus is so powerful and downright helpful to this ragtag group of Shadowhunters that hearing someone degrade him is absolutely cruel. He didn’t choose to be a Warlock, he was born with his mark. He knows that people distrust him, why do you think he let’s people have this image of him as a partying immortal? He’s lost alot of people. He’s been hurt by lots of them too… But he cares . He truly does. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t bother helping anyone. All he did was be honest about himself. And he let Alexander do the same.

Downworlder or not, he’s absolutely worth giving everything up for.
