Personal life rambling time

So I was going through a rough thing w my bf and didn't wanna be alone in my dorm while in that mood so I traveled home, and i thought things were getting better but then he broke up w me a week later so I canceled my trip back to ny and booked one for a week later cause I didn't wanna be alone in a city that reminded me of him, now I got strep throat and feel like I'm dying so I cant travel back, and my mom is traveling to a covid high risk country just for fun ahdhfjdje and doesn't think she'll be able to test negative for the flight home so I have to stay here w my brother until she gets back. So I'm doing all my classes online for 2 weeks ig

There’s a nice Vegas Hockey history connection for the host city in this too, as Rheaume played for the Las Vegas Thunder of the IHL in 1995:

The Thunder, and Rheaume’s legacy with that team, were among the influences which shaped the design of the Golden Knights’ popular “Reverse Retro” jerseys from the 2020-21 season, which paid homage to the often little-known pre-VGK history of ice hockey in Las Vegas:
