rewatched the doctordonna special and something else caught my attention—1666.

mavity in 1666 and a christmas special all about numbers and coincidences?? come oooooon. there's more to this. way more.

plus the doctor does say gravity again after newton, when they're in the cockpit (?) for the first time and looking out the front window. he says "gravity well", then donna goes what and he corrects it to mavity.

but fifteen uses mavity without any glitches so by then the doctor has grown used to it too.

some additional notes:

the meep talked about "the boss", you don't throw something like that in and then never bring it up again.

the toymaker mentioned one player he doesn't dare face, the one who waits.

while he was folding the toymaker also said his "legions" are coming, which could have been a last ditch attempt to save himself, but i have a gut feeling there's more to it.

someone picked up the gold teeth aka the master

take all that and then reality ripping and changing with fifteen being the only one to remember the original reality and you get one HELL of a season.

Okay DW 60th, we got David Tennant back, excellent, Catherine Tate, excellent, Rose references, cute, fantastic, great, Kate Stewart continuing to be the longest running New Who side character, brilliant.

But for real, for real for real, if you’re going to bring back David Tennant “14” back, you find a way to throw Captain Jack in there otherwise what actually is the point. I need them to make fun of how old each other looks and probably kiss obscenely, in front of Donna, who should look absolutely accosted.

Is Crowley a Time Traveller?

Look, I know this sounds crazy, but...what if?

What if he has been living the same six thousand years for much longer than six thousand years? Millions, even?

If any Good Omens character could travel through time, it would be Crowley, who we already know can stop it.

Maybe the clock in the background of this scene,

and the hourglass in this scene,

are telling us that Time is important.

Maybe the Doctor Who references aren't just for fun

but to remind us of David Tennant time travelling?

Maybe the differences in Crowley's sideburns and tattoo placement are actually to signal that these are different iterations of the same Time Loop,

or that Crowley has gone back in time to fix things, and Sideburns Crowley is from the future?

Which is why in Season 1, Crowley doesn't seem to recall the bullet catch incident when he points the paintball gun at Aziraphale, and instead speculates about what Heaven thinks of guns.

Because by this point in his wibbly wobbly timey wimy life, Crowley didn't know yet. He hadn't gone back in time to fix things yet.

Though what needs to be fixed is currently unknown.

Was Aziraphale killed/destroyed/erased and Crowley needs to save him?

Was Crowley erased by the Book of Life which sent him back in time?

Was the entire universe about to be destroyed and Aziraphale once again demanded that Crowley "come up with something or I'll never talk to you again?"

(or "I'll never kiss you again?" or "I'll never see you again?" Various variations could work)

And Crowley's solution was to go back in time rather than freeze it?

Wait wait because Aziraphale loooooves his licenses.

He will want a license from God that he is married to Crowley. He can’t go to church, he’s closer to god than any priest. Also obviously no no for Crowley. But a license from GOD? Heck yeah.

I just imagine Crowley in the background like holy shit that’s God standing there (after they saved the world probably) and he’s like… nah actually fuck you I don’t want to talk to you.

But Aziraphale is like… actually… just a quick one… can you like… marry us *pulls Crowley by his hand towards God.*
