FANNIBAL FLOWER CROWN HISTORY!

We were talking on Twitter, so I thought I’d make a post!!! 

1. Flower crowns began as a multi-fandom meme, with Fannibals joining in alongside everyone else!!! “Flower crowns have always been around, but in 2013, they became a widespread meme on Tumblr. 3. BUT FANNIBALS ARE SPECIAL!!! (Pre-July 2013) since we have incredible creator/fan relationships, and a very attentive cast and crew, Bryan spotted these meme images, and thought it was an exclusively Fannibal thing!!! This was something he was very excited about!

4. So we got to keep the symbol!!! SDCC 2013 + Nerd HQ Panel!!!! (July 2013) Bryan and then Bryan and Hugh donned flower crowns in response to fans wearing them, in response to Bryan’s excitement, AND SO THE CROWN INTENSIFIED AS A MEANING OF FANNIBALNESS!!!! 5. The cast in crowns!!!! (September 2013) From SDCC, Bryan headed to film Season 2, and durin early filming posted twitter pictures of ALL OF THE CAST in flower crowns!!! 6. THE REST AS THEY SAY, IS HISTORY!!!! And so, because we did showed Bryan the symbol of the flower crown, and it was reproduced to us, and we reproduced it and etc. etc. etc. in the awesome cycle of love from which everything Fannibal grows from, THE FLOWER CROWNS STUCK WITH US!!!! Bryan thought it was a Fannibal thing, used it, and so we decided WHY NOT MAKE IT A FANNIBAL THING? And it was an amazing decision, because flower crowns are INCREDIBLE!!!!  They’re super useful in helping us stand out from paparazzi/auto hunters/not super into it people at events, signifying us those who truly love and are emotionally invested in the show! Crowns are also nonverbal, which is a big plus in noisy situations! AND it has been proven (by recurring fabulous fannibal use) that the flower crowns signal LOVE to each other and to our cast and crew!!!! So they are visible and positive signals, which helps us find each other and help our cast/crew to find us!!! ALL OF WHICH MAKE OUR FANDOM THE MOST AWESOME!!!
