I don’t know who needs to hear this, but...

Don’t “social-media stalk” your ex. I know there’s the usual “don’t talk to your ex”, “don’t text your ex” stuff, but also (if you can still see their posts) don’t look at their Instagram. Or their Tumblr. Or their Snapchat, their Facebook, their Tiktok, their Twitter, or anything else they may post on.

You’re only going to see stuff that will hurt you. A happy face doing happy things. All you’ll see is the person you miss, not the person you broke up with. (And if you’re really unlucky and the person is a huge asshole, you’ll see them posting stuff about you, which is fucked up and will hurt even more.) And you don’t deserve that. You deserve to be happy and free of the weight of that toxicity. Don’t torture yourself by checking in to see how they’re doing. They didn’t deserve your attentiveness then and they don’t deserve it now.

So, stop worrying about them. Worry about you. I know it might feel natural to wanna know what they’re up to, but you don’t need to know. Worry about what you’re up to. And in time, it will all feel better. I promise.

TLDR: Don’t focus on the person who hurt you, focus on yourself <3

i learned that in August 2014 Women’s Voices for the Earth commissioned testing of four types of Always menstrual pads, manufactured by Procter & Gamble. The certified laboratory STAT Analysis Corporation analyzed the products for volatile organic compound.
