marx's materialism isn't about physicality but social relations between people and other forces in society such as production for example. Nor did it propose that the material conditions, the world, one finds themselves in to be static and unmodifiable by human intervention. its rather quite the opposite and one of the main core points of marxism that humanity has the power to alter its material reality and social existence whether that means via interaction with the natural world or the changing of social relations.

when did you realize you were trans or was it something you always knew?

this is a bit of a complicated question, I had intense discomfort over being male and wished i was born female for as long as i can remember and through early elementary school i remember praying for god to fix my body. i first sort of became aware of other people transitioning (i'm from a rather small town) when i was in 5th grade via youtube but then my mother found out and she scolded me and called them transvestites and perverts (even though a lot of them were lighthearted videos filmed by/featuring people only a bit older than me me and were entirely nonsexual) and so i repped until the end of 8th grade bc i couldn't bear it anymore and then started transitioning. I wasn't always aware of being trans but i have always been dysphoric for as long as i can remember.
