Pyramids in Prism

My students were wondering about why the volume of a cone/pyramid is 1/3 the volume of its associated cylinder/prism, so I made this. (On GeoGebraTube.)

This shows if they are related by any constant, it will be true for all three so that the constant must be 1/3. If the pyramids are of equal volume (which is true) then each is 1/3 the prism. In the case of the cube they are congruent. But what is an intuitive argument that they must have equal volume. Do you know one?
