He asks for a moment, unsure how to take her question. Was she asking where they were going, because Ryuji didn’t exactly know. He was at that weird point where he knew he loved Makoto with his entire heart and he would love to spend the rest of his life with her. In fact he was starting to look at rings to get that ball rolling but he just didn’t have enough money for one. 

So yes, their future was most definitely on his mind. He was just being quiet about it.

" hey...how do you feel about staying home and cuddling in for christmas? "

He’s hesitant for a moment, taking a sip from his hot chocolate as Ryuji tried to think about this for a moment. It was a no brainer, actually. He would much rather spend christmas at home with Makoto rather then attempting to make plans that would undoubtedly, somehow go wrong.

         “ I was hoping you would suggest that for the longest time. “

he admits after a minute or two. A cheeky grin comes to Ryuji’s features as he slipped an arm around her, pulling her closer to her form && nestling his head atop her. She was really comfortable... she always was.There was nothing about Makoto that Ryuji didn’t like. But spending Christmas with her like this? It was like a dream come true.

It would seem that Ryuji should know how to be careful with the rather delicate objects but he had already accidentially broken three. && he didn’t want to make his girlfriend more mad by adding another to the pile of broken shards already on the floor. 

          “ Hey the tree is lookin’ better this year! Well considering         we have more ornaments, right? Heh... It’s a beautiful as you. “

LIFTS UP MISTLETOE OVER OUR HEADS AND LEANS IN FOR A KISS. ;'))

There’s a brief moment as Ryuji wondered where she had obtained the mistletoe but the thought passed his mind rather quickly. With a grin adorning his lips, a pale hand intertwined with his girlfriend’s as he plucked the mistletoe from her fingers && held it higher above them, out of her reach.

         ❝ Oh? So that’s what you want huh? Man I shoulda’       gotten the mistletoe.  ❞

He laughs to himself, shaking his head before wrapping an arm around Makoto’s waist && pulling her in. Their kiss was by no means quick, nor did Ryuji want it to end. It was too enticing for him to so much as pull away from his girlfriend. But when they did, he grinned rather widely. 

        ❝Hey, Merry Christmas, Makoto! ❞
