Having a Pretty Space ♡

How to have a pretty space and deep clean your area !
01: Laundry
If you’re like me, you have a lot of laundry pile up overtime, especially during quarantine. So the first step to tidying your area would be to organize and wash your laundry.
02: Wipe down surfaces
This step is self explanatory, wipe down every surface in your room and dust. This will give your space a ‘fresh-clean’ feeling. This includes windows, bed-side tables, vanities, counters, etc.
03: Make your bed
This step is the most essential, if you make your bed it makes the whole room feel so much cleaner. If you’re in a bad spot right now, I recommend doing this. It helps your space become more put together.
04: Trash
Anything that brings you sadness is trash. So not just plastic rappers, clothing tags, etc. Pick up anything you consider trash and throw it away or tuck it away out of sight. This will cleanse your mental state and space.
05: Vacuum
Vaccum your area. I recommend using a cleaning powder that’ll help your area smell a lot better. Also use a hose around more smaller areas for a more concentrated clean.
Now that we’re done cleaning our space, here are some Investments for it.
Wallflowers for air freshener plug-ins
Room sprays that have a clean scent
Decor and accessories, like pretty hangers, little jewelry holders, and antiques.
Get pretty photos or posters you share interest in to make a collage or anything you want !
New bedding. Get a new comforter, pillow cover, stuffed animal, or throw to spice up your bed area.

I love this smoothie scrub by Soap & Glory & I like to use five blade razors for a clean shave. It makes my legs super smooth. ( I do this every other day )
Cleansing 🌸

I used to only prefer body wash but I’m starting to enjoy dove bar soaps. Cleansing your body with a soft towel along with the bar helps with using as much soap as possible ( so it doesn’t get slippery too ). After using a bar soap, I like to use a shower gel that goes with my lotion & mist.
After care 🌸

After bathing, I will use a lotion & mist to finish off my routine ! I really recommend bath & body’s new scents.

necessary things every icy girl, gay, and enby should have on them, AT ALL TIMES

• first things first! PKW- phone, keys, wallet! you should always keep your money, your phone, your car and house keys, and some form of I.D!
• personal hygiene products- panty liners, pads/tampons, and 🌸 wipes!

• next up is sanitizer and wet wipes! i personally love the pocketbac sanitizers for my purse and the spray sanitizers for my car “go-bag”!

• hand creams! I’m always sanitizing or using wet ones and i never want my hands to get dry and crusty. my nails are too cute for all that!
• travel size body sprays and rollerball perfumes!

• lip balm, lip gloss, powder, an extra face mask, oil blotting sheets, face wipes, and lash glue!
• a phone charger is A MUST! if you don’t have enough space keep an extra plug and cord in your car! i’m

some other things i keep on me in my bigger go-bag, are an extra pair of panties, different types of flow pads and tampons, body lotion, deodorant, body sprays, and extra sanitizers! i really hope these tips help anybody that needs them!

Treating yourself like a princess

Doing your nails, keeping up on your skincare routine, relaxing, and moisturizing.
All of these things are so important for your confidence and well-being. Times aren’t well and you deserve to be taken care of. Splurge on that fragrance you want, do what will make you happy ! 💗
Focusing on your mental health

You’re important ! You need to make sure you’re treating yourself in a manner that will bring you happiness and mental peace.

Ways to improve your mental health :
Journal out your feelings. Make your emotions known to you. Figure out what’s the root of your pain and make steps to get better.
Using your planner. Plan out your days one by one and make each one special to YOU.
Create realistic routines. Create morning and night routines for yourself that you know you will stay responsible to.
Like the advice above, DO NOT, create unrealistic goals for yourself. Start small & slow. Work your way up. Make every step enjoyable for you and keep your mental state in consideration.
Have a healthy sleeping schedule. This one is hard, I know. It’s essential though. Work on your sleeping schedule and make sure you’re waking up and going to sleep at consistent times.
Having healthy Relationships, friendships, and Social Media

KNOW YOUR WORTH. Don’t let people treat you however they please. Be your own bestfriend & know when to step back from toxic / unhealthy people.
Traits you DON’T want in relationships / friendships
Controlling. “You can’t wear that because I’m wearing something similar”
Threatening. ex ; “If you do A I will do B” Usually telling you they will hurt themselves if you leave.
Posting bad photos or humiliation. This can be shown through making jokes about you or belittling you. Passing it off as you’re being too sensitive. Invalidating your feelings.
Passive aggression. Making ‘lowkey’ offensive comments about your looks, trying to tear you down. This isn’t always about looks though. More examples - “You’re too loud” “You’re sometimes annoying”. These things aren’t true, they’re JEALOUS.
Honestly all of these things are caused by jealousy. They know you’re too good to be involved with them anyways so they try to make you forget your value. They also do this take advantage of you or make themselves feel incontrol.
Social media :
Don’t follow accounts that are negative / drama influenced. Don’t follow people who make you feel bad about yourself. Don’t spread unnecessary hate to people you don’t know. Mind your business.
Participating in social media cleanses every week / month can improve your mental health depending on how you use your accounts.
Don’t post everything you’ve got going on. You never know who’s keeping tabs on your life. Plus being private just feels better.
Learn how to be alone

There’s a bad connotation with being alone. People always think that it means you’re depressed or lonely, but being content & alone is the best feeling. You don’t need others to to bring you happiness, you’re your own happiness.
How to be content and alone :
Have hobbies. Find what you like to do that doesn’t allow any type of third party. Ex: Crafting, sewing, writing, and designing.
Self love. Once you love yourself and are your own bestfriend, you will not need others. It’s natural to want friends, but you won’t need them. There’s a difference between wanting and needing people around you.
Living the life YOU want

I wanted to end this post off with saying, the life you want is attainable. The life that you have pictured in your head right now, is available to you. You just need to work to get there. Cut the distractions, and excuses. You have so much potential.
A task for you :
Grab a piece of paper, or open the notes app on your phone.
Write a day in your life as if you’ve reached every SMALL goal you have. Ex; write as if you have a better sleeping schedule, you’re motivated, and you have that workout routine. Write a morning to night day, read it, visualize it, then live it !
