alexander ward always giving full acting, the immediate gasp and brace when he starts swinging in the canyon, the grunt when he hits the wall, the way he drops his head once he's out.
I think we need more "unnecessary" gore in horror movies actually I think people should explode into a giant mess of blood and tissue and viscera during random scenes in horror movies
Critical Role Via TikTok: “The Crown Keepers are back Thursday next week as @/Robbie Daymond and @/Aabria Iyengar prep behind the scenes of #criticalrole!🎲✨”

rewatched the fcg sacrifice scene a couple times and i gotta say HUGE props to matt for the DMing on that one. like, obviously for sam, a massively incredible move, but like.. people have pointed out that the damage definitely wasn't high enough but matt had it kill her anyway, but beyond that... the checking in that he did!! looking at sam and making sure he knew what the consequences were, what he was doing, making sure that he was okay with that, with his story ending this way. and i think that's really important to do as a dm!! to uphold the rules and the consequences, yeah, but to make sure your players are aware of them and okay with them, and to give them chances to back out of big moves like that one. very very good stuff there
