It’s with a heavy heart that I say this but I’m done. I’m disgusted with the way everything has played out (if you want to know what’s going on, plenty of other blogs have laid it out) This is a fandom, and it’s meant to be a safe space to engage with people over the content that we love and it’s officially crossed a line into something else. I don’t feel comfortable being a part of this community anymore and it breaks my heart because at one point it was the brightest part of my day. I’ve loved the last six months that I’ve spent creating alongside my fellow writers and I’ve made some amazing friendships but I can’t do it anymore. The joy is gone and has been replaced with disgust, dread, and pain. What happened was unacceptable.

I’m calling this an indefinite hiatus but if you wake up one day and my blog is deactivated, know that I’m doing well and moving forward. Thank you to everyone who made these last six months some of the best times of my life and to everyone who read my stories and engaged with them. It means the whole world to me. It was an absolute privilege to be able to share with you.

F: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with SGS and YCMBWH?

JESS. JESSSSSS!!!! This is such an enabling question disjdhejdjjdfj I feel so passionate about my playlists for my fics but I’ll try to boil down to a few songs for each.

For SGS, the songs that I think would like play during credits of it if it was a movie are: Trustfall by P!nk, Slut! By Taylor Swift and Cruel Summer also by Taylor Swift. For YCMBWH, it’s harder to pick specific songs from the playlists but I’d say Tell Her You Love Her by Echosmith, Homesick by Noah Kahan, and Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey

G: If you wrote a sequel to SGS, what would it be about?

Aaaaaaa, so I’ve actually talked about this in passing once or twice but Bugs doesn’t actually stay with the Dogfighters for more than another year or two after SGS. She and Natalie actually go on to open their own clinic to help other athletes like Jake who need help they can’t get with their team doctors! If I wrote a sequel to SGS it would be about Bugs’s struggle to get the clinic started while managing doing long-distance with Jake for the first time since he’s constantly traveling for work. (Also I just realized I have your birthday oneshot sitting half finished in my drive so uhhhh I’ll get back on that soon 😳)

LIIIIIIIIIIZ, MY BELOVED!!!

E: What character do you identify with most?  Is there a certain fic of yours that captures these qualities particularly well?

I would say I’m a mixture of Roadie and Dragon! I haven’t gotten a chance to write much of Dragon yet but writing False Confidence has definitely been an experience since I have a lot in common with Roadie (other than a smoking hot bf of course 🥲)

K:  Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)?

I love being able to insert music into fics! I know life isn’t an episode of Glee (could you imagine??) but I love letting my characters sing and I had so much fun with that in YCMBWH! We will definitely see some music in False Confidence as well 👀

When it comes to reading, my favorite trope of all time is “there was only one bed” soooo that’s an easy way to hook me 🫣

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

Well the cat is out of the bag in regards to Muscle Memory but I’m really excited about that fic! I’m also working on a werewolf!Bradley oneshot rn. OH and the secret third thing 🤭 Maybe I’ll do a mini reveal of that soon
