Welp... It's official, I've hit 400 followers!! Thank you all so much! I know I haven't been doing a lot with this page and I wish I had something to give you all for this momentous occasion but unfortunately I do not :/

I had an idea for a Majima fic/hc thing I might put together but my creativity has been so sporadic lately and I've really been so consumed with my own original characters and creations it's been hard to focus on one fandom.

The craziest thing was that during my playthrough of this game I triggered this on complete accident the FIRST time I ever used the photo booth. Was on a date with a hostess when it happened. And from my understanding, it's not easy to trigger 💀

I was playing yakuza kiwami when majima just showed up in the photo booth and it caught me off guard LMRWKRJ

In conclusion: they're both menaces

I feel this. To anyone on my page Wondering where TF I am, I am experiencing le Yakuza burnout lol. I have a very one track mind and MCU stuff has sucked me in. (Very hype for Loki as he was my one of my first major fictional loves)

Idk about you guys, but I will definitely be waiting for snug's return and I hope you guys wait for mine.

How about like Saejima caring for Majima after Majima gets his tattoo done? Like i don't know that much about the process, but it seems like that technique of tattooing is hard on the body? i don't know if i'm explaining this well sorry

Ohh yeah this would've been a sight for sure, back in the early 80s: Majima being his usual overzealous self and boasting to his bro that he can get his entire sujibori done in one sitting, no prob... then turning up at the Saejimas' door many hours later with decidedly not the entire back done, first because hand tattooing is much slower than machine tattooing and second because I don't think baby Majima really knew what to expect in terms of the pain. He's got a splitting headache from clenching his jaw for so long and he's sore as hell and it's only the sheer excitement of it all that keeps him grinning as he proudly shows off the new ink.

Ok but as the days go by and he gets even more parts lined, I imagine he'd become quite a nuisance to poor Saejima. Unlike Majima, the big tiger is better at handling pain and actually follows the aftercare guidelines, with little in the way of complaints. Yeah, he too wishes they could spend the cold December days soaking in a tub or at the onsen, but he's not whining about it every 10 minutes...

Little does he know, the worst is yet to come: the itching. So as a disclaimer, I'm a total tattoo noob as well, but as far as I know there is a stage during healing where the skin will itch like hell, but you won't be allowed to scratch it. Only slaps can provide some relief and you realize what that means...

Yasuko comes home one day and nearly drops her groceries before even opening the door... all she can hear from behind it is Majima's voice pleading:

"C'mon, just one slap, square on the cheek! Ya got those big meaty hands, won't ya do yer bro a favour and put them to good use??"

She makes sure to take her time twisting the key in their lock, to give the guys some space to uhh... get decent. And indeed by the time she enters, Majima's got his shorts back on, but he's still topless, lying on his belly crawling closer to Saejima in the hopes of at least getting a pat on the back. Man can't even sit properly due to the itchiness.

"It's yer own fault for gettin' it that low. Ya wanted ass ink ya better live with it now," Saejima declares from his smug seat at the coffee table. But he's also coping with his own tingling sensations. So maybe he'll be merciful and at least roll a nice cold beer down Majima's back... 😌

So all in all, I think Saejima would act kinda like the teasing older brother, despite being younger hah. However, getting their tattoos lined and later filled in must've been big events and, moreover, treasured memories for the Jima kyodais. Their ink is, after all, the most tangible symbol of their affiliation to the yakuza.

With the hints the games give us about tattoos symbolizing and even sealing one's fate, I think the day both the tiger and the Hannya are complete ends up a lot more solemn than they would've both expected. They're not joking around, but instead sitting in a comfortable silence, soaking in the fact that their commitment to this path is now truly solidified... and that they chose to walk it together 💙
