Color on Metal: Tile #4 (Limoge Samples)
Trial #1: The sample tile (grey border) has a counter enamel on the back. On the front, I first sifted a layer of FOUNDATION WHITE and fired it in the kiln for 1 minute and 5 seconds, then I used my remaining 18 Prismacolor pencils and drew a sample cell with each one. The tile was then put back in the kiln for thirty seconds without a top coat (I forgot the topcoat).
Sample (red border): Is the first tile with the prismacolor pencils redrawn and put in the kiln for 1 minute 5 seconds with a clear flux enamel top coat this time.

Color on Metal: SAMPLES FOR TILE #5 (LIMOGE)
I etched little compartments so I can fill each with foundation white enamel then color on top, a prisma color. Each sample tile will have 16 colors fired at a specific time.

Enamel: Photo for Assignment #1 We're finding photos to use as a reference for our enamel pieces. I've decided to use Yuji Hiratsuka's "Freak" as my image.
