hello, this is star… or just raquel now.

i wasn't planning on letting people know about this but i figured it out soon or later someone would. because my style of writing is quite “unique” (i got a feedback about this one time. tysm for whoever sent it, i'll never forget it ♡), i guessed it isn't possible for me to do much hiding.

anyways: i made a new blog. the reason why i wanted to keep it a secret is because i wanted it to be a more personal space (even more than gyuletters). it's going to be more slow paced in every aspect it can be. it’s just a place for me to enter and share these stories i have with me.

i’m not deleting gyuletters, because i know that my stories have made many people happy - or at least i hope so hahaha. new year, new me (not so much). i just needed somewhere to restart and refresh my creativity to match this “new phase”.

YOU ARE an idiot, to say the least. The title easily falls into your grasp every time your eyes fell into the all too familiar playing field. Whether the label on the nametag includes "in love" is up for debate. Although, the number of times you found yourself distracted by Choi Soobin gives hard evidence to support your claim.

But seriously, who wouldn't fall for the Soobin?

When your hands first brushed against his, you seemed to find yourself in confusion. How could plastic cause an electric shock in your heart and veins? His eyes fleeted away from yours, chasing escape from its predators. And honestly, you loved it. The shy mannerisms he radiated versus his bold stature on the field amazed you. He could never hold a conversation with you, yet held so much confidence when he stepped onto the field.

“Thank you…” Soobin trailed off shyly, accepting the offered water with a small but visible smile. If that little detail made your heart flutter, it was between you and your mind to keep it a secret.

“No, it’s nothing!” You squeak out, eyebrows raised as you giggle slightly. His talents were to be treated, and keeping players hydrated was simply something you were required to do. Nonetheless, his “thank you”s of gratitude never faltered. “You should be proud of yourself.”

With that, he blushes of embarrassment- and oh, how beautiful his skin is pink. “I tripped over my boots and missed the kick…” And sure, you have no idea in which foreign language boots refers to cleats, but you know it’s not yours. Along with the knowledge that you would pay anything to see his blushing face again.

“It’s only practice; don’t be so hard on yourself,” you pat his back, your hand lingering longer than regularly. With how you were acting, nothing in the was regular. Usually, you rush back to your staff duties, but right now you’re in your field- love. And while Soobin is just a few meters away from his, you wouldn’t mind luring him into yours.

“Of course, Yn,” his teeth shine in a youthful light, gleaming at you in blooming plants. How his hand reached your forearm or how you two neared the other’s face in such a short time manner isn’t known to you. Truthfully, you didn’t mind, but the resonating ring of the coaches whistle did.

“I’ll see you!” you call out finally, blushing as you purse your lips inwards to suppress the chaos that settled a home in your mind.
