Lola scrunched her nose. “No, it was probably mine.” She sighed, shaking her head. “I’m so clumsy… are you alright?”

“I’m fine don’t even worry about it.” Hadley assured the other girl.

She dropped the little white pill down the drain as she walked through the street. Lola hated them, she really did, though she knew she’d pay for it later when the headache and the nausea hit. Turning, she almost didn’t know anyone was close until she knocked into them. “Oh, shit. Sorry about that!”

Hadley hadn’t meant to watch the girl but in order to keep herself from having a panic attack she needed to focus on something. Of course that was when the girl she’d been watching turned and walked right into her. “Oh! It’s my fault, sorry.” She muttered, looking at her feet.

Georgia frowned. “Maybe you should go see a doctor. Hitting your head can be pretty serious.”

“Oh no! Not my head, just hit my hand and skinned my knees a bit.”

Hadley furrowed her eyebrows slightly. “There’s not much to know about me.”

He shrugged. “I mean if I wanted to talk about it. I am sure I could…”

Pippa reached into her purse and pulled out a Paw Patrol bandaid. “Yeah,” she muttered as she held it out to her. “What happened?”

Hadley took the bandaid with a smile. “Uh- Thanks, I just slipped is all.”

“Uhm, yeah I think so. Let me check.” She dug thru her purse to look for one. “What happened? Ah here, I do still have one.” She produced a band-aid and handed it to her. 

Hadley took the bandaid and opened it, placing it over her cut. “I fell- Hit a rock.”

“The cold weather can go away any time now…” He sighed, wincing slightly. “My whole body hurts so bad… I think I am coming down with something and my legs hurt like hell…” 

“You sound like you’re falling apart.”

Niamh looked up with a smile, putting her phone down. She shrugged. “Sure. Um.. mum just text and she and dad aren’t gonna be home till late. You wanna get take out?”

Hadley hated when their parents were out late but she still nodded. “Yeah- That’s probably better than anything we try to make around here.”
