Can I say something? And I don’t mean this as a slight against any other driver but … I wish that luck actually went Charles Leclerc’s way for once.

When Charles had seven-straight first row starts? The Red Bull is the epitome of reliability and Max Verstappen runs away with the lead. The one race where the telemetry shows Charles having car issues in FP3 and qualifying which leads to him starting on the second row? Max Verstappen DNFs for the first time in 43 races and the other driver on the first row ends up winning.

When Charles gets permission to start pushing (don’t even get me started on the team orders leading up to this) and starts steadily cutting down the race leader’s gap by over two seconds? A perfectly timed safety car (thank god George is okay) takes away his chances of catching up. But when Charles could have won the Las Vegas Grand Prix? An unnecessary safety car just five laps after he pitted for new tires stole away that chance.

I guess what I’m saying is that I don’t blame anyone … I just wish that luck was on Charles’ side for at least a little bit.
