cherry meets his homeboys and is like damn i should’ve picked them instead 😭 as a joke but he’d still wanna die
peter had proudly introduced you to each friend, therefore allowing you unlimited access to the home and those in it. you shook every hand and appreciated each greeting.
later on, you couldn't help but state the obvious.
'your friends are attractive.' peter whips his head around, his toothbrush is pushed into his cheek, you get comfortable in his bed while he stares you down.
'what's that supposed to mean?'
your phone vibrates when you plug it in. 'nothing, they're attractive, that's all. all of them... every single one.' you lean for the tv remote, peter scrubs harshly at his teeth.
'no they're not.' he grumbles as a theme song plays, you grin at his tone. it's fun. 'tell me, the tall one, what was his name again? tarr-'
peter's toothbrush spins in it's holder, his sink cut off in an instant. 'too late. i introduced you as mine, you're off limits.' you pat the space next to you. he's so easy to rile up.
'good. i got the hottest one.'

ok this is random but😭
i had a dream the other day and idk why i didn’t tell you sooner bc it’s so you/trouble/us coded but i had a dream where i bit my man’s shoulder (im single) (hypothetical dream man) but i but it OFF and woke up crying like his flesh was in my mouth and there was blood and now i csnt jokingly bite my future bf bc i’m traumatised
oh my god. telling this to bf!peter im-
'wake up.' stiff pokes, your touch is swiped away. 'no.' you poke harsher, peter hisses around a breath. 'wake up.' he pulls towards the edge of his bed, you follow right behind.
'go away, i'm sleeping.'
'that's fine, i just need to tell you something.' peter lets out the most dramatic sigh you've ever heard. 'tell me.'
'i can't bite you anymore.'
two days ago you bit him so hard it left a perfect bruise in the shape of your mouth. when you saw it the next day, you cried and told him how sorry you were, peter said it was fine and it didn't hurt. it was kind of sad, peter had never seen you so guilty before.
'don't tell me you're still crying over that. it was an accident and i promise it doesn't hurt.' you frown, you weren't talking about that but you think that's where the idea came from.
'i just had a dream i bit you and like, i bit your arm off.'
peter rolls over, he's got two perfect arms. 'trust me, trouble. you've got jaws of steel, but they're not that strong.' peter's the one who brought it up, you point at the fading purple.
'i did that.'
'and it's still attached.' peter shakes his arm out, 'see? wanna give it a nibble?'
'no! no more biting. no biting ever again, i can't control myself, obviously.'
'it's a minor flesh wound.'
'for now! what if i gave you a staph infection?'
'you didn't give me a staph infection.'
'how do we know that?'
'because you didn't break the skin, trouble.' you stare at the mark, it haunts you still. your lower lip trembles, you hurt him. 'petey,' it's that broken voice, the one that makes peter feel like a teddy bear, the mix between bringing comfort and a sense of protection.
it's all it takes for him to scoop you into his hold. 'c'mere, give me a hug.' you press against him tight. 'i hurt you.' peter holds his lips to your forehead, you caused damage and he's comforting you.
'minorly. i’ve bruised you before, too. i didn’t beat myself up over it.’ you snort, he didn’t cry but he felt terrible. peter went in a little hard on sex one night, his fingertips bruised little marks into your hips where he held you. the next morning he kissed them over and over while he whispered apologies.
‘liar. you freaked the next morning.’ peter hums, he remembers. ‘of course i did. i bruised my girlfriend the same night i got her.’ you want to squeal, each time he says it feels like you take flight.
‘then you understand why i’m upset. i mortally wounded my boyfriend, the person i love most.’ you gasp, you hadn’t even thought of it like this, but it’s even worse.
you push back to stare into his eyes, your thumb brushes over the purple ring. ‘i hurt spider-man!’ you kiss over the bruise, you can’t believe you hurt your hero like this.
‘i almost bit spider-man’s arm off.’
peter rolls his eyes, ‘no, you almost bit your boyfriends arm off.’
‘spider-man is my boyfriend.’
‘peter was your boyfriend first.’ you hold up a finger, ‘technically- you told me you-‘
‘technically nothing. you’ve known peter for longer, that’s who your boyfriend is.’
you shake your head at him. ‘well, technically-‘ peter flips you to your back, you blink wildly at the sudden movement. ‘technically nothing. spider-man was collateral to get peter to be your boyfriend.’
you raise your eyebrows, peter hides his hands under the warmth of your shirt. ‘baby, i only said yes because i knew i’d be dating spider-man.’
peter pouts sympathetically, ‘i hate to tell you this, trouble. but
spidey is pretty upset about the impending staph infection. peter on the other hand
 is strong and brave.’
you agree with him. ‘yeah! you’re the strong one, you can handle your arm being bit off. i mean, i’ll never bite you again, but you could handle it.’
‘trouble, as long as you’re the gnawing my arm off, i’d be fine with it.’ you pout up at him, peter thinks he said the wrong thing again and tries to backtrack.
you stop him. ‘i’m not sad, petey. i’m in love. you’d give an arm for me.’ peter gives you three quick kisses, ‘i’d give you anything.’
you murmur against his lips, ‘like being able to call spider-man my boyfriend?’ peter presses in harshly, you think he might’ve bruised your bottom lip in retaliation.
‘almost anything.’

omg what if Peter gets trouble a gift for x-mas BUT trouble didn't bother with a gift for him bc she thought that he wouldn't care about her enough to get her a gift
'what's that?'
'oh!' peter holds out the package, when you stare at the printed santa wrapping paper, he nudges it a little. 'it's for you.'
your entire stomach dropped, you knew you should've gotten him something. you were so convinced it would be stupid, but now you're eating your words.
'c'mon, trouble. what, never got a gift before?' it's fine, you could play it off. you hesitantly reach out for the box, it's even got a bow on top.
'no! i just... haven't gotten yours in the mail yet.' it's fine, you could figure something out. you had two days before he left for home.
'you didn't have to get me anything, trouble.' you peer at the gift, 'ditto, parker.' peter waves you off, 'just open it, c'mon!' you hide your guilt with a smile.
gently tearing the paper, you're met with a gift box. it has a reindeer and a penguin hugging, you peek up at peter, he's itching for you to see what's inside. 'open it, open it!'
handing off the scraps of paper, peter crushes it into a ball, keeping an eye on your face. the gift is revealed, a gray hoodie, with a spider-man mask emblem on the left top corner.
your heart expands three sizes, your thumb runs over the raised embroidering, it's high quality. 'isn't it awesome? i saw it when i was shopping for may like, three weeks ago. i just had to get it for you.' he's so excited, he was proud to know he found something he knows you'd love. and you got him nothing in return.
'okay, okay, put it on! cause there's kind of a part two of the gift.' you feel terrible, it's hard to push back the love for the clothing over the overwhelming hurt you have over getting him nothing. you knew you shouldn’t have talked yourself out of it.
you didn't want to be in peter's spot. something to give and then receive nothing in return. a subtle hint that one cares more about the other.
your silence has peter tone down his excitement, maybe he was a little off with his gift. 'do you not like it? i can return it and you can pick... no! why are you crying? is it that bad?'
you shake your head, using the back of your hand to wipe a stray tear. 'oh, whew! for a second i thought you hated it, but nope, peter picked good. so good you're speechless and crying, look at me go.'
proud. boastful. meanwhile you're solemn and glum.
'seriously, trouble. put it on!' it's the absolute least you could do, he already went miles ahead of you. the cardboard falls to the floor when you pull the fabric up, it's a bigger size than you'd normally wear. 'that's part two. i got it a little bigger so i could wear it and get my scent on it for you.'
your heart’s about to burst open, it's fleece lined and ultra soft over your skin. 'i wore it when you weren't around, so it should smell like me.' you bring a sleeve to your nose, it does. it smells like a giant peter hug. his hands pulled the hoodie over your head, a dopey smile took over his face.
'super cute. it's your superpower.'
with that, you fall into his chest with a sob. it's not a good one either, arms wrap tight around you, his cheek resting on your head mashes the cotton further down. 'i lied!' you clutch his shirt, shame spills out.
'about what? that you like it?' your head thrashes, he couldn't be more wrong. it was your most favorite possession now that it's been added to your collection.
'i didn't get you anything!' you pull him tighter to you, terrified he’d push you away and tell you he hates you. 'i'm so sorry,' you breathe in and out deeply. 'i was going to but then i didn't think you would get me anything and that's not the point of christmas but i didn't want to make you feel weird and, and,'
'i made you feel weird?' it's not the right word. 'no! i just...' peter pushes you back, his hands cup your face to force you to look at him. 'made you feel bad?' you nod, he guessed correctly.
'i meant it, trouble. you don't have to get me anything, i just saw it and thought of you. it's not a big deal, i promise.' that made you feel worse and he can see it.
'stop it, stop. you heard me, right? i got that weeks ago. christmas was just an opportunity give it to you, but if it was april or june or whatever the fuck month, i still would've bought it.' featherlight kisses to both cheeks. 'it’s a just because gift, christmas was just an excuse to give it to you, okay? you've gotten me plenty of those before, i don't need one now.'
'i'm so sorry, peter. i promise i'm gonna get you something, i mean, it won't be a christmas gift because you're going home and i won't be able to give to you until you get back so then it just becomes-'
peter grins, like he's thinking quicker than you are. 'a just because gift? like the one you're wearing?' you were the one that fucked him over, yet he's the one making you feel better. it still works.
'yeah. i think so. but, it will have christmas wrapping paper.' a stoic nod, 'of course. i mean, that's the only stuff i had in the house. it's not like i chose that pattern on purpose.' (he did. but he'd die before he admitted that to you.)
you look down at your new hoodie, you love it. your hands run down the front, it's so, so soft. you look back up, peter loves that you love it. 'not a christmas gift?' peter shakes his head, 'psh. of course not.'
your words lower, you reach up on tippy toes for a kiss. 'just because?' hands on your hips as peter leans in has your stomach fluttering, it's been a minute since he's kissed you so soft and slow. 'just because.'

how does frat!peter respond to the putting it in thing bc id fr start a fight with him over it djfkjsd
'how many girls have you helped put it in?'
peter's half paying attention, busy chewing on a pen cap while sloppily copying notes from a classmate. 'put what in?' you miss no time and spit the words out. 'your dick, peter. how many girls have you helped put it in?'
'oh, no.' everything is put on pause for the moment. 'no, no. we went over this, for your mental sanity, and mine, we agreed to no previous girl talk.'
'no, i think you agreed and this means a whole fucking lot to me and you should answer.' you're not fucking around, peter feels the tone change. he's done nothing wrong, but you're pissed.
'it's just fucked that you've had so many girls open themselves up to you and you were doing all this intimate shit and now it means nothing when it comes to me.' you cross your arms over your chest, you hate his past a little too harshly in the moment.
'it's fine, i guess that's just your prerogative, parker.'
'hey, c'mon, don't be like that.' you huff and look away, 'i don't know what you mean, parker.' peter chews harsher, the plastic cracks under his teeth. 'c'mon, trouble, don't start.'
'i'm just using your name,' you know exactly what you're doing. 'not the one you’re supposed to use, no.’ you shrug, 'get one of your other bitches to call you peter, i'm sure it means nothing to you.'
'alright, too far. back it up, trouble.' maybe so, but you're not wrong either. 'whatever, parker. you care more about a name than my feelings, it's fine.'
'oh, jesus.' he fucking hates tiktok. at least once a week it starts something. 'i can't fucking tell you, trouble. i don't know. i don't keep track of that shit, why would i? does it mean anything? no, not really, i was just trying to get my dick wet, faster.’
it's vulgar, and slightly demeaning. the words make you frown, peter doesn't care. 'it's different with you, alright? if that's what you wanted to hear, i'll tell you.' the bar is in hell because you eat it up. you come around a little, making slight eye contact to make sure he's not lying.
'different how?' it's peter's turn to be shy, the question makes him itch. he doesn't know how to explain it, it's just a feeling. 'i don't know, it just is. it's more... sensual, i don't know.'
it's cute, your smile makes him think he said the right thing, he doubles down.
'it's less about the sex and more about the connection with you, alright? it's special and it means something.' it works, he's out of the doghouse. you nod at him approvingly, 'that's very nice, thank you...peter.'
it's under his breath, but the small fist pump gave him away. 'yes.'

The Fake Ring
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jake “Hangman” Seresin x female Reader
Summary: The three times you lied about your relationship status with a ring and one time you don’t have to anymore or - It’s easier to work as a bartender with a fake ring on your finger to avoid situations. But that also means Jake thinks you’re already in a relationship
Word Count: ~2.7k
Warnings: is the beach scene a warning?, discussions about situations when you need to lie you’re in a relationship to get rid of people, me not having a clue about the navy
AN: I started this story a year ago when I bought myself a fake ring for work. I rewrote it 3 times and I wasn't so sure, if I should post it on this blog, but I love TGM and I had fun writing it, so: Hi Jake, welcome to this blog
When you needed to make sure you were off limits
The night had just started for you as you were stacking the clean glasses and had just finished counting the register. Nobody was there so far, but that would change when the naval aviators would come in and the folks that tried to talk to them or get one to sleep with them would arrive. They often arrived after them in the hopes they would see their entry.
You liked the beginning of your shift when you had the room to yourself until the regulars came in and then the aviators. They were nice and often chatted with you until it got crowded. It was how you got to know some of them, and you were especially fond of the group that was currently stationed there.
Right when you thought about it the door opened and a few of them stepped in. They stopped at the bar and waited for you to make their drinks while small talk floated through the room. They took their drinks and went to their side of the bar where the first bets for a game of pool were placed.
“You’re not playing tonight?” you asked Hangman who stayed back at the bar with you.
“I’ll let them a chance of winning before I join them,” he smirked at you and you laughed. He wasn’t wrong though; he was good at pool. And at dart. And at flirting. “I rather keep you company if you have time for me. How was your day?” he asked and took a sip of his beer. You knew that he would quit after the first beer and would switch to something non-alcoholic if the next day was a working day.
“Same old, same old. Nothing as exciting as flying for sure. I bet you don’t want to hear about me going grocery shopping and that my highlight was to pick up a new book that I got lost in until I noticed I had to leave for work,” you teased as you filled a drink for another customer.
When you came back Hangman was still there. “I like to hear about everything that makes you happy.” His eyes quickly went to the piece of jewelry on your hand. “I’ll see you later, darling,” he said and stood up before he joined the others at the pool table. You almost forgot about the ring. You started wearing it when people started hitting on you and for the most part it worked. And it was better this way, because you weren’t sure if you could tell Hangman no.
Hangman flirted all the time, so you wouldn’t be special. Even though he always asked about you and your day and coaxed you into telling more. And people did talk about him a lot and had a certain opinion of him, but he was always respectful and you knew he wouldn’t cross a line.
That’s why you were seeing him flirting a few hours later with two women who were more than willing to do so. Phoenix had slipped into a seat in front of you. “Another round?” you asked her. It was a slow night so you could give her a few minutes.
“Yes please, and a break from Hangman's terrible flirting, so don’t hurry,” she replied and it made you laugh.
“I bet he isn’t that bad,” slipped your lips and you hurried to bend down and grab some bottles, so she couldn’t see your face. But she was still staring at you when you were back on her eyelevel.
2. When you had to protect your heart
Inventory sucked! There was no other way to describe the days when you had to count how many things you still had at the bar and what you needed to order. You stepped out of the cool bar towards the bench where Penny sat outside. “Okay, I counted...” you never finished the sentence as you just spotted what was happening on the beach.
“Take a seat, enjoy the show,” Penny chuckled and patted the bench next to her.
“What is happening?” you managed to get out and stare at the people who were playing some kind of game – shirtless. “Is that Phoenix?”
“Yup and everyone else. Give me the list,” she held out her hand and you put the paper in her hand before you sat down and started watching whatever was happening there. “I bet we could get a lot of money if we would record that,” you said to your boss.
“Yeah, but do we like to share?” was her reply and you shook your head no.
“While we’re at it
what’s going on with Hangman and you?” Her tone was easy, but she looked at you with something that told you there was no escaping that conversation.
“Nothing. He likes to flirt with everyone, that’s it.” You shrugged your shoulders and let your gaze wander back to the game when a loud shout was heard, and someone lifted a guy – Bob? You weren’t so sure – into the air.
“If you would take that thing of your finger, maybe,” Penny started, but you interrupted her.
“There is a reason this is on this finger.” You wiggled your hand, and the small stone caught the sunlight and reflected it. “People won’t accept a no anymore and,” this time it was Penny who interrupted you.
“Did someone do anything you didn’t want to?”
“No! It’s just they see it as a challenge when I decline it. But once they see the ring they kind of back off. It's just easier for me this way.”
“Okay, once they do you tell me. I won’t tolerate anything of that, okay?” She waited until you agreed and patted your hand. Inventory took longer than usual because you were distracted by the game.
Penny had gone inside to place the order and you were busy collecting everything from the table when a shadow fell over the papers. “Enjoyed the show?”
“It was okay,” you replied and eyed the sandwich Hangman was eating. He held a half out towards you. After a short hesitation you took it and bit into it. He took Penny’s seat and you shared the food. You were thankful that he had put on a shirt, because otherwise you would have stared at his body.
“I think I need to have a chat with them,” he said once he finished and licked his finger. You were mesmerized and didn’t catch on immediately.
“Huh?”
“Your partner. They need to take better care of you. But I shouldn’t have to point out the obvious that you should feed your partner. You never even told me a name,” he said and looked at you expectingly.
Suddenly you went hot, caught in your own lie. Never had someone requested a name of you and you couldn’t come up with something. “Maybe because you only talk about yourself,” you said and stood up. You quickly grabbed the papers and threw a “Thank you for lunch” over your shoulder before you went inside the building.
It was a lie; he was always asking about you. But you knew when you came up with something on such a short notice you would be caught in a web of lies. You needed to think about it.
3. When you had to admit you lied
“Why don’t you just ask her out?” Bob asked when he saw Jake watching you again at the Hard Deck.
Jake didn’t even bother to look away from you, only when it was his turn at pool. “Because despite all of you thinking I’m an asshole, I’m not hitting on someone who is taken. It’s just a little flirting and as soon as she tells me to stop I will,” he said while lining up his cue and as he didn’t lower his voice the others were also pulled into the conversation.
“Who are we talking about?” Rooster asked and hoped his opponent would be too distracted to sink the next ball.
“His crush,” Coyote jumped in, he had been wanting to bring it up for a while.
“What crush?” Rooster asked confused. The others just stared at him, while Jake mumbled something about not having a crush. “Don’t look at me, he was just flirting with three different people last week,” Rooster defended himself.
“They wanted to be entertained and I just did that. It wasn’t as if I was leaving with them though.” Despite the talking he managed to sink two more balls before it was Bradley's turn again.
“Okay so... if she’s in a relationship, why is she spending her breaks with you? And I haven’t heard her talking about a relationship ever,” Bob thought loudly. “Although she also mostly talks to you and not me.”
This made Jake pause. Not once had he heard a name from you, he saw the ring and assumed and went from there. But you also didn’t deny anything when he mentioned a partner. But Jake was anything but shy that’s why he left the table without an excuse and stalked to the bar. He waited patiently for you to finish your conversation and shooed Penny away when she wanted to take his order. She gave him a knowing look, but he didn’t break her gaze. Only when he noticed you approaching, he looked in your direction. You shot him a smile and showed him you’d be with him soon.
“Want a refill?” you asked once you stopped in front of him.
“Are you in a relationship?” The question made you stop and you stared at him like a deer caught in the headlight.
“Why are you asking?” Your response told him a lot, so he just raised his eyebrow. “No, I’m not,” you admitted as you didn’t want to lie to him.
“Okay, then why this?” he pointed at your finger. Another patron showed you he wanted to order something and Penny was busy at the other end of the bar.
“I’ll join you in my break and explain then, okay? So, about the refill?”
“I’m good, see you then,” he knocked on the bar twice before he made his way to the restroom.
You took your break earlier than you would have usually. After a stop in the kitchen you walked over to the pool table with a plate full of nachos and two cokes in your hand. You pushed one in Jakes hand who was leaning against the wall watching the current game. You held out your plate too, but he just shook his head. It was quiet for a while when you watched the other aviators play.
“How often have you been hit on and the person didn’t back off when you told them you weren't interested? Or were you always interested? Wait, I just realized I asked the wrong person.” You looked around and wanted to ask Phoenix when you spotted Bob. You repeated the question again. Poor Bob looked tortured and admitted it had happened quiet often.
“Some people even see it as a challenge, especially when more people are around,” Phoenix chimed in who had come over when she spotted you with her back seater.
“If someone tells me they’re not interested, why should I humiliate myself and try harder?” Jake wondered.
“Oh Jake, if only everyone would be that way,” you patted his arm and didn’t know why you were surprised that it was quite hard under your touch. “The thing is I’m at work, a little flirting is okay, but people seem to forget that the later it gets. And the easiest way to get them to back off and not cause a scene is this one.” You held up your ring to show him. “This works way better than the I’ve got a boyfriend excuse and don’t even get me started on the girlfriend option.”
“So why not say anything to me?” Jake finally asked.
You shrugged. “How should I have known you’d be different back then? And you already noticed it. I didn’t know if you were really interested and that you started asking questions.”
“Just wanted to make sure you know if you say the word I’ll back down. Will you say the word?” His eyebrow rose while he stared at you, waiting for your answer.
“Jury is still out. My break is over, if you want to see me you must visit me at the bar,” you threw a wink at Jake before you walked back to the kitchen to return the dishes.
+ 1 time you didn't need the ring
“Hey darling, okay for me to come in?” you heard Jakes before you saw him. He was standing in the doorway with the sun behind him, so you told yourself this was the reason it was hard to look at him.
“Sure,” you nodded and he stepped inside. “You alone?”
“Yeah,” he confirmed and walked towards the bar where you were stacking glasses. “I’m actually here to tell you we’re leaving for a short while so you wouldn’t worry about,” he kind of rambled at the end it caused you to look up at him and stop your task.
“Are you nervous?” you finally asked.
“Me? Never!” He tried to sound confident, but you saw right through him.
“You know how long you’ll be gone?” The walk around the counter towards him was quick and you put your arms around him and pulled him close to you to your first actual hug. It didn’t take him long to return the gesture and his arms found their way around your middle.
“Not allowed to share,” he mumbled and you noticed how some weight dropped from his shoulder.
“Okay, well come back safe.”
He promised you that and let go after a while. It seemed like neither of you were ready for that.
“Hangman!” He stopped at your yelling just before he was about to leave the place. “Bring back everyone else home too.”
“Yes, ma’am,” he saluted and left quickly.
-
“Keep them coming, sweets. And add whatever you want to and join us.”
“Thank you, I’m working. But I’ll bring a new round shortly,” you said and sidestepped the table and the outstretched arm to go back to the bar. So far this group wasn’t a real bother, but you had to be careful when the night progressed. And three rounds later they got kind of rowdy telling you to join them again. It was more demanding this time.
“Is there a problem here?” you suddenly heard a voice behind you and when you turned around you saw Jake behind you. Before you could think about it your arms wrapped themselves around his neck and you hugged him.
“You’re back! Are you okay, are the others?” Over his shoulder you could see Fanboy, Rooster and Coyote while you spotted a few others making their way over to the pool table.
“You haven’t answered his question. Is there a problem here?” Roosters smile that he sent your way was gone quickly when he mustered the guys at the table.
“No problem here at all,” one man said with his arms raised in defense.
“I sure hope so, we have no problem throwing you overboard,” Jake told them and took your hand and pulled you towards the bar. “Where is your ring?” he asked when he noticed the lack of jewelry.
“Don’t know. Felt kind of wrong wearing it now,” you shrugged.
“How about we make a deal?” he asked and you just realized how close the two of you were. “You don’t have to wear it when I’m around. I’ll take care of everything then. You can wear it when I’m not here and you can tell them that you have someone that already takes care of you.”
“Do I?” you asked cheekily, but you had also noticed that everything had shifted with Jake. And his lack of flirting with others.
“Always had. Let me take you out,” he said and everything else disappeared when his forehead pressed against yours and he stared into your eyes.
“Okay,” you breathed, and your lips almost touched. “But I must get back to work now. See you in my break?” you asked and he nodded which caused you to laugh as your faces were still touching. “See you later, Jake.” You finally walked away and didn’t see the clap Jake got on his back from his friends while he still looked after you with a lovesick look on his face.

hi! i was wondering if you could write spencer reid with a reader who's hotch's niece? and hotch always tells her that she should meet reid and go out with him instead of all the shitty guys she usually goes out with so when she meets him she's just like "oh! you're the guy my uncle wants me to fall in love with!" and he gets all flustered. thank you, have a good day/night!
You'd already been eyeing up the FBI badge clipped to the man's chest pocket, but when you put together Reid from the laminated card and Spencer when the barista gives him his coffee, you know it's the man, the myth, the legend.
"Oh my gosh," You pipe up from where you'd been waiting for your own drink behind him, "You're Dr. Spencer Reid?"
He doesn't look like he'd been expecting you to speak to him, and he clumsily stops in his tracks, nearly spilling his coffee through the short opening in the plastic lid.
"Um- yes, hi." He blinks bewilderedly at you, "Are you- do I know you?"
"You know my uncle," You grin, turning briefly towards the counter to accept the coffee that the barista slides towards you, "Aaron Hotchner."
Spencer's brows shoot towards his hairline, "You're- oh! You're Hotch's niece?"
"That's me," You nod, shuffling towards the corner of the shop so that you're not in the way of the other patrons, "Y'know, my uncle speaks very highly of you."
Slowly, very slowly, rouge starts spreading over Spencer's cheeks, coloring them close to the salmon accent that the coffee shop has running along its crown moulding.
"Uh, he's- that's good to hear. I try my best."
"Oh he says you're a fantastic agent," You nod, "But I meant more personally. He tells me I should fall in love with you, actually."
All of a sudden salmon is out, and fire-engine red is in.
"You- uh, love?" Spencer splutters, and your heart skips a beat. Maybe you could take your uncle's suggestion.
"He's not a fan of my love life," You laugh, "He'd rather me go for someone nice and, uh- not a criminal."
Spencer's face quirks up in a bashful grin, and he fights through his flustered state to chuckle, "Uh, yeah, that sounds like something he'd want for you."
You delve a hand into your bag, coming out with a ballpoint pen that you uncap, "Listen, Dr. Reid, if you'd ever like to take me out, and- uh, not to your prison cell..." You reach for his hand, and the tense muscles beneath your fingertips relax as you neatly pen your number onto his wrist, "Give me a call, okay?"
"Okay," He nods, and you're sure the word was supposed to come out as a confident agreement, not a breathless whisper. But he finds his voice soon after, clearing his throat, "Um, it was- it was nice meeting you...?"
"Y/N," You smile, heading for the door opposite of where he's heading, "Hey, good luck with work! Don't let my uncle boss you around."

maybe hotch and reader are expecting a little bambino and nobody else knows until someone points out reader's belly? (i feel like it'd be absolutely hilarious if it was spencer that pointed it out 💀💀)
thank u for ur request! fem!pregnant!reader
"Can I ask you something?" Spencer asks.
You smile at him gently. "Always, Spence."
He seems cagey despite your assurance, lowering his voice and stepping closer to you. "Do you think maybe you need more fibre in your diet?"
You've been friends, best friends, with Spencer for so long you genuinely can't remember a time in your life where you didn't love him, but you have no idea what to say to that. It's the weirdest thing he's ever said unprompted. That's saying something.
"Is there
a reason that you're asking me?"
"There's three," he says. He waits for you to nod before laying them out. "For a few weeks now you've been more tired than usual. You're hungry all the time, and your stomach is bloated. I know that can feel painful, you could eat a handful of chia seeds in the morning and it would help."
You feel like someone's dropped an ice cube down the back of your t-shirt. Disarmed, you turn to Hotch where he's standing at the whiteboard, your hand moving automatically to your stomach. He gives you a similarly perturbed look. Derek's head shoots up at the list of symptoms, and Emily covers her mouth at your protective hand where it's poised. Fucking profilers.
"I've actually been taking vitamins," you say, wondering if you can still save it.
Emily is the first to break. "Wait, are you–?" She doesn't let herself finish.
Spencer shakes his head, brown curls bouncing at the base of his neck. "What?" he asks, his lips twisting into a trademark pout.
"Spence," you murmur, taking his wrists into your hands. "I want you to know that I was going to tell you first. This weekend, genuinely. I didn't think you'd notice so soon, is all."
He looks at Hotch, then you, then Hotch again. You press your lips together. "Please don't be upset," you say.
It clicks. There and then, you witness the cogs turning. "You're pregnant?" he asks breathlessly.
"On purpose," you joke.
Spencer tackles you. His arms fly around your waist, a tight, brotherly squeeze of a hug that makes you feel like you're gonna burst. "You're kidding!"
You're barraged by hugs. Emily, Derek, JJ. Rossi shakes Hotch's hand and pats his back in congratulations, which is so old-man style you find yourself laughing under JJ's arm. "How do you know it's his?" you ask Rossi.
Hotch laughs as Derek moves in for a similar bro-hug, nothing but love in his eyes as he smiles at you from over Derek's shoulder. You smile back, amazed and ecstatic at their happy reactions, until Spencer forces JJ aside with more gusto than he likely should to hug you again. You're blinded by his wild hair.
"I don't think you can fix this with a cup of chia seeds," Derek says.
"We couldn't be happier," Hotch assures him.
"On purpose, huh? When were you going to tell us?" Emily asks, her face a picture of surprise, a hint of disappointment in her thin brows. "I had no idea you wanted another one!"
"Jack wants a brother," Hotch says. "You know she can't say no to him. And he's perfect–"
"But there's nothing wrong with wanting more," Rossi finishes, his eyes gleaming.
"I thought it might be a little awkward to emphasise that we were trying," you say, patting Spencer's shoulders.
Emily winces. "Gotcha."
"Let's see the bump, mama," Derek says.
You step back from Spencer's side to turn, holding your shirt flat to the underside of your baby bump. It got bigger quicker than you thought it would, and now that it's been pointed out, it's obvious.
Derek shakes his head in disbelief. "That's–"
"Amazing," Hotch says. You beam at him.
There's a second round of hugs. Delight thrums in the air like a charge, laughter buoyant. Hotch parts the sea of excitement to kiss your cheek and hug your shoulder proudly, turning his head away from everyone. You know what he's thinking —this is going to be a really special time for you both. Your team will make sure of it.
"Um?" Penelope asks, elbowing open the door with a weighty laptop in her hands. "Did I miss something?"
Penelope, predictably, screams down the house at the presenting of your bump. Then she cries, and for a while you're all unashamedly teary-eyed.

Derek and shy!reader maybe? Meeting the team for the first time and none of them are expecting Derek's partner to be standing half-hidden behind him, shyly waving at them instead of saying anything
thank you for ur request! fem!reader
"So what's the deal?" Emily asks Penelope, licking the stem of her paper umbrella dry before dropping it onto a napkin. "He's suddenly going steady?"
"Can you call five months sudden?" Rossi asks.
Hotch nudges him.
"What?" Rossi asks. "Can you? Five months is a long time."
"And that's why you had to send Christmas cards to three different divorce lawyers this year," Emily says.
Emily has a penchant for saying the occasional brazen comment, but JJ confiscates her friend's margarita anyways, before the booze loosens her lips and she says something worse. It's a small jet.
"It's not like Morgan," Spencer agrees, standing at Rossi's other side, looking less out of place than usual.
"It's totally like him," Penelope says.
Hotch's smile is hard to read, which is a spectacle considering current company. "I agree."
"Here he is now," Penelope says excitedly, clapping her hands in front of her chest.
Derek strides into the bar and past its patrons without a care in the world. He looks happy, content, and the team doesn't need to see you to know you're with him. He smiles at his phone at work exactly as he smiles now, with his arm stretched backwards to tether you along.
You come into view as the crowd thins. You're not what anyone's expecting, certainly not plain but nor are you dressed up. Emily, in her tipsiness, declares that you look adorable, and receives a reproachful look from Hotch in reward.
"Hey Derek!" JJ calls as soon as he's near enough.
"Hey, guys. Mama, you remember what we talked about?" Derek asks Penelope.
She nods sagely. "Restraint. I'm restraining myself. Oh my god you're so cute, I'm Penelope! I'm so happy to meet you."
"Hi," you say.
No less than five pairs of eyes fall to your hand as you twist your fingers into Derek's sleeve. He doesn't bat an eye, taking a half step in front of you, a picture of casualness as he introduces you to each of them in turn.
"It's nice to meet you," Hotch says, seemingly speaking for the whole group.
You raise your hand and give a stilted wave. Your eyes look sad and stressed at once, but you don't sound either, softly saying, "You too."
Derek wraps a muscled arm behind your neck, grinning while he meets Penelope's eyes. "What are we drinking tonight?"
Your eyebrows pinch up at the starts. You smile at them all despite your obvious nervousness, and it's enough for each of them to reach the same conclusion simultaneously. You're shy, but you're good. A broad sweep yet easy to make. It's obvious how much you care for Derek if you'd been willing to meet them like this when you clearly don't feel comfortable.
Luckily for you, Penelope is excellent as making people feel welcome. "We're drinking Y/N's choice. What do you like? Sugar shots? Mojitos?"
Your lips part, unprepared for a direct question so soon.
Derek turns his head to yours, giving you what Emily deems the most ridiculous puppy dog eyed smile anyone has ever given, and what Rossi knows is a ring waiting to happen. He should know.
"Let's go figure it out. Another round, from me?" he offers.
He's quick to steer you away, but not too quick to miss Rossi's, "Something strong if you want us old timers to stay!"
They wait for you to be safely out of earshot before they condense, bad gossips and worse actors off the job. "Who would've thought?" Emily asks.
"She's not what I was expecting," JJ says.
"Are we that intimidating?" Rossi asks, raising his eyebrows. The answer being yes, of course, though none of them are aware of just how scary they can be. You'd felt like you were standing in front of a pack of wolves.
"She seemed nice," Spencer says. Trust him to say something sweet. Trust the rest of Derek's friends to agree, the group nodding and humming at various pitches.
"She seemed silent," Emily jokes.
Penelope crosses her fingers and closes her eyes, earrings swinging against the blond tresses of her curled hair as she drops her head. "God, my muffin deserves nice. Please let this work out, she looks so sweet. I just wanna pinch her cheeks."
"It's gonna work out," Hotch says surely.
If Derek could hear him, he'd agree on the spot, but he's too busy praising you halfway across the room for such a stellar introduction.

'oh, you LOVE me!' - send me a request for a baby blurb! give me a character, and a plotline, and i'll write you a little fanfiction :)
The team visiting Spencer for one reason or another on their day off & reader opens the door (maybe even wearing one of Spence's shirts) and that's how they all find out Spencer is in a relationship?
The doorbell rings, and even if Spencer weren't hobbling around on crutches with a rolled ankle, you'd have bolted to answer the door. You've got new shoes coming, a treat from your boyfriend himself, and they're set to arrive today before 9PM. It's 6, and you're eager to finally put them on.
However, it's not the mailman at the door, not unless the US Postal Service has gotten a huge budget increase. The man that stands at the door is dressed in a fine suit, something you're sure cost more than double what your shoes had, and he seems mildly surprised to see you behind the door.
There's a posse of people behind him, and you wonder if this is some sort of special delivery system. But no one seems to have your package, and you tilt your head at an angle, "Can I help you?"
His eyes narrow infinitesimally, curiously, "Yes, we're here to see Dr. Spencer Reid," The man speaks up, his voice deep and smooth, "Did we have the wrong address?"
"No- No! Hotch," Spencer shouts from his place on the couch, and you hear the clatter of crutches, "Hotch, wait!"
"Spencer," You gush, ditching the door to make sure he doesn't tip himself over in his sudden pursuit of his callers, "Spence, go slow, you'll trip."
"I'm fine," He pants, moving as fast as he can to the door, his cheeks unusually rosy, "Uh, what- what do you guys need?"
Upon sighting him, the rest of the people behind the door exchange glances with each other, like they hadn't quite believed just his voice. You're hovering awkwardly behind Spencer now, looking up at your houseguests curiously, and waiting for them to speak.
"We brought you cookies," A blonde woman behind the man in the suit pipes up, hands decked out in jewelry as she brandishes a ziploc bag of treats, "And- and Morgan has medical tape he thinks you should use on your ankle, and JJ made a casserole, and we just wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I was going to offer to hire you a live-in nurse," An older man pipes up from the back, a suit jacket draped over his shoulders, glancing back at you with a small smirk, "But I'm not sure that's necessary."
"Thank you for the stuff." Spencer reaches out for the bag, keeping his crutch stabilized beneath his shoulder, "Y/N, can you- the casserole, um-"
"I got it," You jump forward to help, taking a dish from another blonde woman standing beside the first. The bottom is warmed, and she smiles kindly at you as she passes it off, nodding at your thnaks.
"Here's the tape," A man pipes up, muscles straining the t-shirt he's wearing as he sets a roll of medtape over the foil on the casserole. He grins at you, and the expression shifts more into a teasing one when he speaks to Spencer, "Sorry for interrupting."
"Oh, you weren't interrupting," You shake your head, "Are you- you're Spencer's coworkers, right?"
At their round of nods, you readjust your grip on the casserole, "Would you want to come eat with us? We could-"
"Our apartment is messy," Spencer cuts you off, hand already on the door to shut it on their shit-eating grins, "Thanks for the food, sorry you can't stay. See you tomorrow."
He shuts the door without offering them another word, and you gasp, "Spencer! That's rude, open the door!"
"They are relentless," Spencer locks it, heading towards you and backing you against the kitchen counter where you set the casserole, "If you let them in, they'll tease us both until our ears bleed, angel. They're not offended, and you can meet them some other time," He promises, kissing your forehead where you stand frowning at him, "When we're at someone else's house, and my ankle is healed so that we can run to the car and leave early when they lay into us."

no bc why am i blushing too???
so first I would just like to say I love your writing and if it's alright I have a request Sirius x reader who comes off as confident and flirty but the moment Sirius does anything about it they just shut down and their face goes red
thanks for reading and your request!! ♡ late 90s AU,
cw reader can physically blush !
"See you later, handsome," you say cheerfully, hand on the doorway, head poking into the living room.
Sirius looks up from his hand of cards, knowing you're talking to him, and glares. "Where do you think you're going?"
"I have work in the morning, I have to go sleep. I know you'll miss me, Siri, but these things come to pass."
James snorts a laugh and Remus reaches out to steady his drink seconds before Sirius knocks the table standing up. Dark hair falling into his eyes, Sirius climbs over his friends' knees and meets you at the door. "Come on, I'll walk you to your car," he says.
Your pulse jumps in response to his sudden closeness, but thankfully you retain your cool. Together, you walk out of Lily's flat, down the metal steps, footsteps grinding rust and popping puddles. You'd hoped he'd speak first, but Sirius seems content to walk in the quiet with you.
"Did you like the CD?" you ask.
"I did. Hey, the girls
well, Marl said you had to do that on a computer, and it must've taken you ages."
You burned him a playlist of love songs, some subtle, most less so. It was a joke, sure, but a joke that took hours and hours of time and a lorry load of patience. You'd drawn hearts all over the slip cover, and wrote his name in perfect font on the CD itself.
"It didn't take that long. I'm great with technology," you brag.
Sirius smiles at you. "I know you are, dove."
Your foot slips off of the pavement. Strong hands are quick to save you, curling around your arms bruisingly tight and pulling you back up again on proper footing. "Careful," he murmurs, sounding tender.
You feel your heart again, the contiguities you share burning hot and the space between you impossibly small. You look up into his face, Sirius looking down, the perfect curve of his bottom lip like a siren call that pulls you in, yanks you near enough, your brain begging you to ask him even as you begin to melt.
Sirius frowns. "What, did you hurt yourself?"
"I– no," you explain, a mumbled stammer you know you will never, ever live down.
Sirius turns smug slowly. You watch it happen in horror, the inching of his eyebrows, the way his chin tilts ever so slightly upward. He looks down his nose at you, his hands relaxing where they'd been melding the soft fat of your upper arms, fingertips meandering down the length of your arm to your cold hand.
"You aren't embarrassed, are you? You only tripped."
You shake your head uselessly, unable to speak. There's flirtation, and then there's this, the reality that Sirius could kiss you, that you want him to, and that he might want it more.
"You're blushing," he says.
"Am I?" you ask morosely.
He raises a hand to your cheek, feeling the heat of your flushed skin in his palm with the practised ease of someone who's pictured doing it a hundred times before.
"And you're awfully quiet."
A breath shudders out of you without permission, eyebrows lightly creased. You're waiting to see what he'll do.
"Relax," he says finally, the intense cadence of his voice replaced by a sweeter concern, "it's alright. I didn't mean to make you so nervous, dove. I was teasing, but
 I think I might've gone too far."
You shake your head. His hand slides down to your neck.
"No? Good. Let's get you back to your car in one piece, yeah? It's a good thing I came, really, or the next time I thought about kissing you I might have to picture you with two missing front teeth."
Your laugh comes out choked. Sirius sighs fondly, nudging you in the direction of your car.
"Come on. I won't tell anyone you're a fraud, by the way." His hand settles at the small of your back. "Your secret is safe with me."
You'd say thanks if you had the wherewithal, but his constant touching distracts any sense.

stop i love him
i NEED anything with glasses reid or munch reid i’m literally frothing at the mouth 🙏
ty for ur request :D fem!reader
"Emily," you say weakly. "What is that?"
Emily looks up from her desk, clearly desperate for a distraction, the lip of her coffee mug against painted lips. "What's what?"
"That." You point. You feel sick to your stomach. "That right there."
"Oh," Emily says happily. "You finally noticed. Yeah, Spence forgot to renew his contact prescription. He has to wear glasses for two weeks."
Spencer stands by the photocopier with a perturbed frown, clicking a button, then another. His brow is furrowed and his hair is falling into his eyes. He has the stupidest, dorkiest, prettiest face, and practically every expression he makes has you weak in the knees.
"That long?" you ask.
Derek looks up in concern at your pained tone, following the line of your eyes. When he realises what it is that's hurt you so, he skirts around the desk to shake your shoulder. "You could always tell him how you feel. I'm sure he'd keep the lenses forever if he knew you liked them."
"I don't like them," you say. You sound faraway to your own ears. You hate them. They're gonna be your demise.
Spencer runs a fingertip across the photocopier's screen, in his own world as the machine finally begins to chug out whatever it is he'd been wanting a duplicate of. The frames of his glasses sit snug on his nose. You can tell from even this distance that the lenses make his eyes look a tiny bit smaller. You could probably point out a misplaced freckle if he asked you to.
"Don't be cruel, he looks cute," Emily teases.
Spencer collects his papers, shuffling them into a straight line as he makes his way back to the bullpen. You pretend to take interest in Emily's things. She sips her coffee too nonchalantly. Derek doesn't even bother pretending.
"What?" Spencer asks, swift to spot your suspicious behaviours. "Is it the glasses?"
You wince. "Of course not. You look
 you look really nice, Spence."
"You know he used to wear 'em every day?" Derek asks.
You would've died. "Before I joined?"
"For a few years," Spencer says, looking you over. "You're unhappy. Is something wrong?"
He looks to Derek and Emily for confirmation. Emily stutters for an answer while Derek laughs in the background, "She– you know. She just– She missed breakfast!"
Spencer pushes his glasses up his nose by the leg and drops his copies onto the desk. "I have dried apricot in my bag. Two seconds."
He bends over his chair to retrieve his bag from under the desk. Your eyes blow wide at his position, the sudden demonstration of well-fitted pants. Derek's laugh echoes up to the eaves.
"And he has that twenty four seven," Emily says against the rim of her coffee.
You scrunch your eyes closed and tilt your head back. After a few seconds, a hand touches your elbow gently, a hesitance that comes with only one member of the BAU. "You okay?" Spencer asks.
"I'm okay. Headache," you lie.
Spencer presses the apricot into your hands. "Maybe you should see an optician. You know they can tell if you have a brain tumour from one photo of your sclera?" He smiles morbidly, his glasses slipping down his nose. "They measure the size of your optic disk. It takes less than a minute. I can give you the name of my doctor, if you want. She's nice. Not as nice as you."
Your throat is so dry you can't form words to answer him. He doesn't judge your rigid nodding.
"I'll write down the number for you. And, Y/N?"
"Yeah?" you choke out.
"You look really nice today, too."
Emily has to kick you in the leg to bring you back to earth. Stupid Spencer. Stupid lovely glasses.

god that weird crossover episode with the beyond borders spinoff,,, when hotch is chasing that guy through the crowded markets can you imagine being an extra and having thomas gibson grab your arm to stable himself as he runs past you i'd pass away
sorry i know you weren't requesting this and of course this isn't about thomas it's a hotch blurb but i literally could not resist writing it so here you go lovey you are so right i'd have toppled over <3333
--
You think it's rather rude that the man rushing through the marketplace uses you to stabilize himself as he turns a sharp corner. His arm juts out quickly to push against your shoulder, giving himself your side to lean on, but it means that the bag of fruit you'd been gathering to pay for hits the side of the table as you sway into it, and the paper tears at the sharp intrusion. Your bag splits, and you watch defeatedly as all of the produce you'd gathered tumbles to the dirty ground.
You're nothing but astounded, well aware that the police chase should have you more on edge, but completely bewildered and shock-stricken. All you can do is lift your head to watch the man run off, and he notices the damage he'd caused as he turns to throw a haphazard 'sorry!' over his shoulder at you.
He's still running but he staggers a step, torn between the chase he's engaged in and helping you. The business side of his brain starts working first, and he dashes away with barely a second's hesitation, but you'd seen guilt in his eyes that almost made up for your fallen fruit.
The crowd is keen on dispersing as the chase continues beyond you, but you don't care. They're not coming back, it would be foolish of the criminal they're after to circle back, and you kneel to collect the produce you'd lost in the chaos.
You hear the roar of engines as you try collecting the mangoes you'd dropped, now bruised and grimy. A nearby fruit stand had collapsed, the next on your list to shop at, and it's difficult to tell what's what as the fruit rolls and mingles together.
The shopkeepers congregate to join your cause, but where you're gathering the fruit in the front of your skirt, they're scooping it back into crates that had tipped wayward. You've got shorts beneath your flowy skirt that mean you can use it as an apron instead, and before long you're nearly finished re-shopping through the mess on the ground.
"Here," A deep voice comes from above you, and you jerk your head to the side to find the man that had bumped into you only seconds before. Evidently, the chase was over, but you're not sure the outcome. He's panting, chest heaving hard from running as much as he did, but he's holding out a jacket towards you, one that he's tied into a makeshift satchel.
"I'm sorry," He pants, kneeling beside you on the concrete to help scoop produce into the jacket, "I didn't mean to ruin your bag. I had to catch that man, I'm sorry I couldn't stop to help."
"It's alright," You try to keep sourness out of your voice even if you are handling citrus fruits, begrudging towards the man for nearly knocking you down but grateful that he's stopped by to fix things, "I suppose police chases are always that chaotic.
"Yeah," He breathes, still exhaling heavily as he cracks a smile at you. His hairline is beaded with sweat, and it's really rather distracting, so you try averting your eyes lest your mind wander.
"I'll buy you a new bag," He helps you stand, hauling the fruit from his tied jacket onto the righted table and motioning at another stall across the way, "They sell them, I'll be right back. Color?"
"Oh, I-" You stammer, seizing up on the spot, "Um- anything's fine."
"Alright," He's rushing off to the stall while pulling his wallet out without further hesitation, and you wonder if he always moves this fast.
You ring up the produce you want to buy with the cashier, who's quick on her feet to recover from the shock of the chase. Other vendors aren't as lucky, but you're done with your shopping after this.
"Here," The man comes back, still panting slightly, as he extends a white tote bag made just across the way.
"It matches your skirt," He smiles kindly at you, and okay, you might forgive the guy.
"Thank you," You gush, taking the bag from him and nodding when the woman tells you your total. You focus on the fruit first, scooping it gently into your new bag, and the man takes it as an opportunity to pull out his wallet again.
"Here-" He starts, but you catch him before he can pay for your food.
"It's alright!"
"No, I insist," He succeeds in handing his cash to the woman, who doesn't really look like she cares how she gets paid, just that she does, "I almost tackled you, the least I can do is pay for the fruit I knocked all over the floor."
"Thank you," You grin at him when the transaction is complete, and the stall owner flocks to help another across the way. You're alone now, though still in the middle of the fairly crowded marketplace, and you admire the polo shirt that the man in front of you has stretched over his surprisingly toned chest.
"I'm sorry, again." He smiles bashfully, reaching out to cup the back of your bent arm as he gestures away from the black vans gathered at one end of the marketplace.
"You'll have to leave through there, but you should be careful. Do you need a ride?"
"No, I'm okay." You shake your head, "I rode my bike here, and it's parked over there anyways."
"Alright. Okay, uh- stay safe." He urges, his kind smile fading slightly as someone in black sunglasses barks information at him. He nods, squinting slightly because of the sun, "Goodbye. Enjoy your fruit, and I'm sorry again."
"It's alright," You laugh, finally over your temporary grudge, "Sir?"
"Yes?" His brows raise, and you think for a moment he might be expecting you to ask for a ride anyways.
"I'm going that way," You gesture towards the road you'll take home, and you relish the bashful beam that overtakes his face when he laughs at your words, "If you guys drive through there, try not to hit me again."

i’ll keep your brittle heart warm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis : peter was always on your mind, you were always on his, perhaps that would make him a little bit of a distraction.
pairing : frat!peter parker x reader
wc : 1k
warnings : FLUFF FLUFF FLUFFF, uhmmm soft making out !!! other than that
i guess peter being an absolute idiot (a down bad idiot), but even if this is clichĂ© as hell, it’s super cute and fluffy :)
‎‎ masterlist | request | navigation
a/n : hi ! sorry the fic is a little late this week, but frat!peter has been on my mind constantly shehhsjsns <3 he’s leaning more towards the peter more than the frat butttt i wanted him to be a little softer for this one :) big big thank you to @strawberrystarcake for the help on the editing, and @toms-gf for giving me the idea (this one is for u hehe)
Tumblr media
“parker, you joining us?” the familiar voice echoes from the other side of the room. peter winces, not at all because he was opposed to the idea, but he’d made plans with you.
“uh- i’ll catch up later? i have somewhere to be.” the boys, all spread out in various positions on the couch, smirked and ‘ooo’ed at the implications of that.
liam speaks first. “right, got plans with your girl?” peter nods.
“ooh, you’re so down bad, parker, it’s not even a joke anymore.” james, another one of his friends, gives him a soft shove.
maybe he was right.
peter had never planned for your arrangement to escalate into anything further than a fling, and though he had never been an expert when it came to matters of the heart, he knew that he was too far gone.
it wasn’t uncommon for him to find himself smiling at the thought of you. he was constantly lost in thought, and sometimes, it became difficult to snap him out of his dream-like state.
even when his mind wasn’t completely occupied by the thought of you, he found that you had been living rent free in a certain corner of his mind. he’d catch himself wondering about you or associating little things around him with you.
he wasn’t all too familiar with this feeling, but it wasn’t unpleasant, just confusing to navigate.
he’s never felt this way before. his heart never fluttered at a subtle touch, he never felt like he was melting whenever someone walked into the room, he never felt his heartbeat race at mere eye contact.
but with you? you had him feeling everything all at once.
but, of course, he hasn’t told you this, any of this. but he had a gut feeling that you might feel the same way, and that was enough for him to allow himself to fall deeper, as irrational as it may be.
it was no longer ‘maybe he was right’, and peter knew. to put it simply, he was right.
“better get going, you don’t want your girl waiting on you,” trent blurts, interrupting peter’s train of thought.
“right. i’ll see you guys later?” peter says, the boys nod and wave him goodbye as he walks out the door.
“oh, love.” liam sighs dreamily as the rest of the boys snicker.
Tumblr media
as soon as peter enters the library, he’s met with a sense of comforting familiarity. before anything had begun happening between the both of you, you two had spent a lot of your time in the halls of this library. whether it were nights filled with endless work, or simply wandering around in attempt to find books you could read together.
he knew exactly where to find you: a certain corner of the library that you claimed to be ‘warmer and cozier’ than anywhere else.
he spots you browsing the history section, your face scrunched up, clearly focused. he sees all your things, messily laid on top of a wooden table, the one you always use.
he smiles to himself before sneaking behind the bookshelf you were browsing, and just as you pull a book from the shelf, you catch a glint of brown eyes from the other side. you stay silent for a moment, before smiling at one another.
then you shove the book between you two, and the next thing peter hears are quick footsteps.
peter’s utterly confused, he didn’t notice the look of mischief written all over his face.
“baby?” he whisper shouts, scrambling around the area before catching a glimpse of your figure, running from one shelf to another.
then it hits him, you were messing with him.
his look of mischief matches yours once he realizes, he follows quickly behind you, and before you know it, you’re up against a bookshelf, inches away from peter.
“hi.” you send him a cheeky grin, one that he sends right back to you.
“you’re going to drive me crazy.” his eyes gaze softly at yours, before trailing down to your lips.
“i know.” you quip, before moving as fast as you can to try and run away once more.
“ab-up-up.” he tuts, catching you once more. his lips brush softly over yours, lingering for a moment, before he presses his lips against yours. one hand finds its way to your waist, he uses it to pull you closer towards him.
but you find yourself shoving him aside, “peter! this is why i came early!” you slowly make your way back to the table, peter trailing after you like a puppy.
“what do you mean?” it was as if you could hear the pout in his voice, so you don’t allow yourself to look back.
“you’re
very distracting.” you make sure your tone is soft, you didn’t mean it in a negative way and you wanted peter to know that.
“am not!” he takes your hand, turns you around, and suddenly, you’re inches away from him again.
“seriously!? look at what you’re doing!” this time, you couldn’t help but giggle.
“there it is.” he smiles softly, appearing pleased.
“there’s what?”
“that laugh i’ve been waiting to hear all day.” you’re pressed against one another, his warmth surrounded you. “permission to lean in, m’lady?” dork.
“permission granted.”
he leans in, your chest feels warm as your lips make contact.
he cups your cheeks to pull you even closer, if possible, as if letting you go would be the end of him. your hands curl into his hair, you begin to feel goosebumps wherever his hands traveled; down your waist, approaching your thighs as he drew lazy patterns with his fingers.
you could never truly get over the way your lips pieced together perfectly, how it felt like his were caressing yours ever so softly.
whenever your lips part, he whispers soft words you can barely understand, like he’s taking it all in. he finds himself grinning into the kiss, which was apparently infectious, because so were you.
“told you! distraction.”
“oh, shut up.” he says, before pulling you in once more.

hi love ur writing!! can i request for shy!sirius finally building up the courage to ask reader out on a date?
thank you for requesting!đŸ«¶đŸœ
.
“You can do this.”
“No, I can’t.”
“Yes, you can.”
“I think I should just—”
Before he could bolt out the room, a pair of hands firmly planted themselves on his shoulders to keep him in place. James shot his best friend a look, an expression mixed with exasperation and amusement.
This had been the routine for the last three months.
Every day, Sirius would be determined to ask you out. He would spend every waking moment talking Remus and James’ ears off about you. The way you looked, the way your perfume smelled, the way you laughed at a joke he made. He would talk about you whenever he got the chance to because the boy was head over heels for you, had been since you first spoke to him in class a couple of months ago.
Every night, before they had potions, Sirius made a point of swearing the next time he saw you, he’d ask you out. And every single time, by the time they made it to the classroom door, Sirius was ready to run in the opposite direction and James or Remus would have to drag him to his seat before he could ditch.
And then he would the rest of class with flushed cheeks and a pounding heart, trying not to stare at you too long as you worked together.
But today was different.
Today, James and Remus had enough. They wouldn’t let their friend leave the class until he had finally asked you out.
“C’mon, let’s go, Pads,” James clapped him on the back. “Today is the day.”
Sirius shook his head. “No, it’s not!”
“Yes, it is,” Remus said and gave his friend a shove so he stumbled into the room. “Don’t make us do it for you.”
“What if she says no?” He grumbled.
“Won’t know until you ask!” James grinned before pushing him towards his seat before making his way towards the other side of the classroom where his seat was.
Sirius stumbled over his feet, quickly catching himself and straightening up before he knocked himself into your shared desk.
You lifted your head, a smile growing on your lips when you saw the boy. “Sirius, hey.”
“Hi, hello, hi,” he mumbled out before clearing his throat. “Hi.”
You giggled. “Hi again.”
You waited for him to sit down but he didn’t. He stood there beside the desk, arms awkwardly hanging at his side as he tried to piece together the speech he had planned in his head for the last three months.
“You good?” You asked in a softer voice, your eyes darting towards the door where Slughorn was yet to appear before looking back at the wizard. “Sirius?”
The words were blurted out before he could even think twice. “Will you go out with me?”
You blinked. “Like on a date?”
“I—” His body deflated slightly as he lowered his voice. “Yeah, like a date.” He paused for a moment. “It doesn’t have to be a date if you don’t want it to be a date—”
“I would love for it to be a date,” you said with a warm smile on your face.
His face softened. “You would?”
“I’ve been waiting for a while now,” you teased playfully. “Thought you’d never ask.”
His cheeks flushed pink but he grinned. “I guess you make a bit shy, love.”
“Me? Making the Sirius Black shy?” Your smile widened. “I’m flattered.”
“You should be,” James called out from the other side of the classroom. “He doesn’t shut up about you!”
“What?” Sirius scoffed, a little too high pitched. “He’s exaggerating.”
“He’s really not,” Remus chimes in.
You only laughed as you patted the stool next to you. “Maybe you can tell me all about it on our date, Black.”

Spencer coming back from a case and all you want to do is smooch him but he keeps talking?
omg yes please đŸ„čđŸ„č tysm for the rq my love đŸ«¶đŸ»
Tumblr media
you hear him before you see him, greeting his neighbour in the hallway outside of his apartment, keys jangling quietly in his hand and before you can stop yourself, you're jumping over the back of his couch
"spence!" you gasp, full of excitement when the door swings open and he wanders in. you bound towards him, barely giving him a chance to drop his bag before you're jumping into his arms
he wraps an arm around you, the other smoothing over the underneath of your thigh, "hi honey," he sighs, happily, his eyes fluttering shut while you pepper kisses over his cheeks
"i've missed you,' you whisper as he kicks the door shut behind him. you hold his face in your hands, thumbs ghosting over his cheeks, the rest of your fingers tangling gently in his hair
he hums, in agreement but doesn't reply, letting you pull him in slowly, kissing him properly, his bottom lip pressing in between yours. gently he sets you down, his hands squeezing at your hips
pulling away, you immediately grab at his hand, dragging him towards the couch. he sits down first, like always, in the corner of the couch before he's tugging on your hand, pulling you down on top of him so you're sat in his lap
"you okay?" you ask, watching him roll his head back to lean against the back of the couch cushion. your fingers mess with the end of his tie, a habit you'd picked up since dating him
"much better now i'm with you," he smiles softly his fingers tracing down the dip in your spine. he looks so good, hair slightly messy, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, all you can do is stare at him
both of you sit in silence for a moment, just looking at each other, hands ghosting over any part of the others body that they come across. you can't take it anymore, he looks too good
you lean forwards, kissing him again though he doesn't expect it, a small gasp being muffled by your mouth on his. your hands slide up his body, resting on either side of his neck, holding him there.
spencer chuckles and in turn breaks the kiss when you pull away to frown at him, "you have missed me," he smiles wider, soft brown eyes gazing up at you like you're everything to him
"i have, very much" you pout slightly before smiling. you try to kiss him again but he moves, arm keeping you steady while he sits up properly.
"hey, want to hear what emily and morgan were talking about earlier?" he asks but clearly doesn't care for a reply, "so, get this"
it's cruel, the way you tune him out. you feel bad for it but your brain simply isn't working. you return to kissing at his cheek, slow spaced out kisses that have him smiling against you, you can't see it but you feel it under your lips
"and then," you cut him off with a quick kiss against the corner of his mouth before your moving across to his other cheek, "i think jj was there too?" he thinks
you groan, head lolling back, "spence, angel," you huff and he looks at you throughly confused, "shush a minute, please" you beg, not bothering to see him react before you're crowding into his space again
he kisses you back this time, fingers digging into your waist, pulling you towards him gently. you hum happily against him, letting your tongue swipe over his bottom lip
spencer had never really kissed a girl until he met you, not that you would've known with the way he's always kissed you like it's a skill he's had forever. you're practically melting into him, all of your weight pressed against his front
your teeth graze over his lip ever so slightly before you're pulling away, kissing over his jaw while you catch your breath. he tilts his head back, again, allowing you better access while you pull at his tie
"oh! guess what i saw while we were on the jet" he says, like you're not starting to nip at his neck
"spencer," you whine, pulling away from him again, he stares at you wide eyes, "you know i love you, right?" you ask, he nods, "then pease do not take this the wrong way,"
"okay?"
"if you do not shut up and just let me make out with you for a while," you say almost breathlessly, "i may explode"
his eyes widen further, "oh," he says simply and you roll your eyes, gripping at the collar of his shirt. in one swift movement you go from sitting up, in his lap, to him laying under you, "oh"
"oh indeed, now shush"

Hi love thank u for putting out all these fics and amazing writing! U don’t have to write this if it doesn’t speak to u I’m not sure if u write for sunshine reader but I would LOVE to see a sunshine reader with hotch
thank you!! boyfriend!hotch x sunshine fem!reader
cw mature themes mdni
Hotch can't help smiling at the sound you make when you hop into the shower. Your apartment isn't frilly, the shower a showerhead that's been installed inside your bathtub, curtain falling off the rungs. He can see a slice of your naked body if he looks, but he doesn't look.
"Too hot?" he asks. He knows the sound well. The hot water hits your skin and you, a mixture of apprehensive and pleased, say, "Woah," or "Oh," or sometimes the less comprehensible, "Wohh."
"It's really nice!" you assure him. "Are you sure you don't want to come in with me?"
He's a thousand percent certain. You're lovely, but there's no time for standing behind you in the spray, shivering and trying to let you let him wash your hair or kiss your soapy shoulders. He's super late. You're even later.
"You get paid better than this," he says, squeezing a dollop of toothpaste onto his brush. His, because you insisted and he practically lives here, a bamboo handle with purple bristles. It's strange, but you like them and he likes you.
"Pass me my toothbrush, please?" you ask.
Hotch squeezes toothpaste onto your brush and offers it through the gap in the off white curtain. You pop your head out, soaked, water running down your face and your arms. "What do I get paid better than for?" you ask, confused.
"Your apartment, honey. I've had push bikes with more space."
You put your toothbrush in your mouth. Conditioner has your hair glossy and darkened. You have the sense to pull the curtain to cover your naked body, though Hotch thinks sense isn't the right word. He'd wanted to say self-preservation, but that's too aggressive. The point is, if Hotch gets a look at you he might make you even later than you already are.
"That's such a grumpy old man thing to say," you remark, beaming, toothpaste on your lip. You disappear back into the depths of your shower. In tandem, you finish brushing your teeth.
"Hotch?" you ask.
"Aaron. Call me Aaron, please. Hotch is work only, and you know that."
"What about baby?" you ask genuinely.
"Anything but Hotch."
"Sugar pea?"
"What did you want?"
The water runs and runs, slapping the bottom of the tub and glancing off of your shoulders. "I really love you, you know? It makes me so happy to get to do this with you."
The water shuts off. Hotch grabs your towel off of the warming towel rack and stands in front of the tub, barely enough room for you to get out and step down. He wraps the warm towel around you tenderly.
"I really love you, too," Hotch says, wiping a missed glob of conditioner off of the top of your ear. "This is the best part of my day, even if we're like two sardines in here."
You smile happily.
"I think I love you most like this," he says. "You look really happy."
"Hotch, I'm always happy around you."
"More like you're always happy. You're like a ray of sun," he says without drama. It's as true as saying the earth is old and grass is green. "But if you don't start calling me Aaron, we're going to have a problem."
"What kind?" you ask, like this is a delight you're eager to receive.
He ushers you out of the bathroom toward the bedroom so you can change before waylaying him anymore. He watches you get dressed, hands at his neck tightening his tie, and he knows how lucky he is to have you, how fortunate he is to get to watch you put your earrings in, tip of your tongue making a guest appearance between your lips in concentration. Eventually, despite all his willpower, and despite it being the really wrong time, he stops you in the middle of the bedroom and attempts to kiss you dizzy.
"You really should've showered with me," you murmur happily, giving him two punctuating kisses in quick succession.
"I really wish I had," he says. Even in your tiny, draughty, slip-and-slide tub. "Come on, before I make an unprofessional decision."
You hold hands all the way to the BAU.
