so i just went to my third concert this era. the first two i tried SO hard to get picked. I mean wore insane costumes (just look at my profile pic), walked all around searching for mama swift or tn, spent the whole night thinking about it, and didn’t get picked. and every time it was a letdown. this time i wore a t shirt and shorts, put my hair up, and just DANCED. I knew i wouldn’t get picked. i didn’t care. i came to have fun being 50 feet from my idol, not to try to slide my way into rep room.

and this was my favorite concert. there was no letdown at the end of the night. there was no wanting to cry. there was no texting my mom “it didn’t happen :((“.

please please please just enjoy yourselves at her concerts!! don’t worry about getting picked!! don’t worry about meeting her parents!! just have fun and enjoy the night and don’t expect anything. if it happens great, but there’s no need to end a taylor swift concert disappointed.

taylor started playing change and i just started sobbing, that song symbolizes everything she’s worked for and how far she’s come and hearing her say “the walls that they put up to hold us back fell down” was so surreal. we really did scream hallelujah 💓

there’s nothing i love about the reputation tour more more than hearing taylor sing our favorite old songs by her and looking so happy to be on stage dancing with us, singing a song she knows we all know by heart

not meeting taylor is hard. it’s a constant cycle of yearning for something so bad, trying so hard, actually believing you have a shot, being let down, & then losing hope. sometimes it seems like everybody has but you.

taylor hasn’t not met you because she doesn’t love you or she doesn’t know who you are or you aren’t good enough. she’s one person, on an extremely tight schedule, with millions of fans. she tries her best & we try ours. she meets as many as she can but meeting a hundred each concert isn’t even a fraction of how many fans she has.

one day all of us will meet her but you aren’t alone! your time WILL come! don’t expect anything. don’t take anything for granted. one day a screenshot of you will be on her phone and she will call taylor nation and say “I NEED TO MEET THIS PERSON.”

we all say we loved the Red era & we did but Taylor was so broken, upset, & not okay. we all say we loved the 1989 era & we did but Taylor was still finding herself & dealing with demons & discovering who she was as a person. we are finally in the era where Taylor is happy, strong, and doing better than she ever was. And that’s the real reason why this is the best era.
