Emotion-based magic is just...10/10. Characters causing destruction in a rage, only to be horrified by what they’ve done? Excellent. Characters being ten times stronger when someone they love is in danger? Wonderful. Characters claiming they don’t care, yet their magic says otherwise? Perfect.

I used to think that folks going “aha, I am right-clicking your NFT” in an effort to taunt NFT purchasers were making fools of themselves because who is able to make copies of a particular image is completely unrelated to what NFT vendors are selling, but then NFT purchasers responded by actually getting mad about people right-clicking their NFTs and demanding that major NFT exchanges implement some sort of “right-click protection”, so apparently it’s clowns all the way down.

i think it’s really weird how shippers have turned top/bottom into Gender Roles The Sequel and are stereotyping people’s sex positions based on their physical appearance, personality traits, or even mental health status. “which one of you is the woman??” has evolved into “which one is the sweet soft tiny anxious uwu bratty bottom???” which is arguably weirder and more invasive.

ive said this before and ill say it again the religious-level reverence hardcore nerds have for ghostbusters is by far the most baffling thing amongst the current nostalgia-driven pop culture zeitgeist. i do not get it and i never will. it makes sense with star wars or any other kind of like, expansive fantasy franchises originating from around that era but literally what in ghostbusters justifies a movie like ghostbusters afterlife? imagine if when the ninja turtles reboot movie had come out there were dudes on twitter going oh my god when i saw the toxic sludge i fucking cried for the rest of the movie. RIGHT in the feels
