How do you draw backgrounds????? I really need help with the whole perspective aspect of them. (p.s. I love your art!)

-CtrlPaint: PerspectiveIf you have 10 or 20 bucks to spare, Ctrlpaint has a two part video course that covers perspective in detail! It’s super nifty and worth the investment. (There’s a few free videos floating around the site too. I never understood the parental mentality of "It's my house, not yours" like?? You act like the kids just randomly showed up to your door begging to live there 💀 where else are children supposed to live? Isn't it your bare minimum responsibility to house your own kids? Who didn't choose to exist? Kids hardly have any autonomy or rights and it infuriates me.

It's been said so much before but I love it I'm sorry

Dipper and Mabel fill the roles of Stan and Ford when they get older and return to gravity falls (perhaps for one of the stans' funerals)

They get into a big arguement

And Dipper gets sucked into the portal, rebuilt for ???? No fucking idea why

Mabel knows what will happen if she tries to save him, she saw it happen with stan and ford

So now it's either the universe or her brother

And she can't tell anyone that he's gone.

Their family thinks he's staying in gravity falls and their friends think he stayed home.

And nobody understands because the stans are dead.

She is all alone.

Someone may still remember that a few weeks ago I was looking for the theme that plays during the battle with Cazador as it is not on the BG3 OST. Having now extracted the said tune from the entrails of the game, I thought I'd share the joy.

Just in case I'm not alone in having this melody burnt into my mind after a multi-hour humiliating experience of wiping to this bastard and miserably failing in my 'knight in shining armour' rescue mission.

I’m sorry friends, but “just google it” is no longer viable advice. What are we even telling people to do anymore, go try to google useful info and the first three pages are just ads for products that might be the exact opposite of what the person is trying to find but The Algorithm thinks the words are related enough? And if it’s not ads it’s just sponsored websites filled with listicles, just pages and pages of “TOP FIFTEEN [thing you googled] IMAGINED AS DISNEY PRINCESSES” like… what are we even doing anymore, google? I can no longer use you as shorthand for people doing real and actual helpful research on their own.

What do you mean by That's Not A Deer in the mountains near you????

Anyone who spends decent amount of time in Appalachia knows the Not Deer. If you’ve gone on the Blue Ridge Parkway at night, you’ve probably seen him.Now: keep in mind if you don’t live in an area with a lot of deer, deer are freaky bastards on their own. They’re really big, extremely agile, move surprisingly quietly, and are extremely durable. It’s not unheard of for someone to hit a deer and total their car. Once I heard a story of a man who hit a deer on accident and decided to take it home and least get some good meat out of a bad situation. On the drive home the deer woke up and absolutely shredded the inside of this man’s trunk. They’re very cute but you definitely don’t want to mess with one. Just keep that relationship in the back of your mind. Anyway, the Not Deer is more or less what I’d call a folk cryptid. Everybody has their story about it. They’re all somewhat similar. You’re in a car at night, in a rural, heavily wooded area, and probably a bit lost. It’s not wildly uncommon to see a opossum crossing the road, see blips of little animals with your headlights. You see a deer. So you/your friends go “Oh! Deer!” and slow down in case it leaps in front of you. Then you see it more clearly. There’s just something wrong about it. There’s something about its eyes. You feel your stomach get heavy like a rock, the hair on your neck raise. You sense intelligence that you shouldn’t. It doesn’t move like a deer, it moves like a… oh god, what is that thing? Whatever that thing is, it’s not a deer and we need to leave. You hit the gas and get the hell out of there.A group of my friends got lost on the Parkway once and reemerged with a chilling story. They aren’t the kind of folks to lie or over exaggerate. Among other freaky stuff that happened, the driver claimed she saw a deer in the road. Then she noticed the deer was on two legs.

Art Fight 2017!

Starting again on July 1st is my favorite online artist event: Art Fight! If you have OCs, and enjoy making and receiving art involving OCs, then I highly suggest you check out the site and set up an account!

For those who aren’t familiar with Art Fight, here’s a brief overview:

Each year, participating artists are split into two teams.

The main goal is to find any artist from the team opposite yours, and ‘attack’ them by drawing art of their ocs! Your team receives points based on what you create.

Artists that receive attacks can then ‘counter’ by drawing an OC belonging to the person who fought them, or pay it forward by simply attacking anyone on the opposing team!

Art Fight is a great chance to interact with tons of different artists, get to know the amazing OCs that others have created, and have a lot of fun making art! The art you receive is also very exciting; you never know who may attack you! Keep in mind, it’s all in good fun and any skill level is welcome!!

The event lasts a month (July 1st - August 1st), and the team with the most points by the end wins!
