This bus company in my area has taken to giving its vehicles names. This one could have used a bit more constructive criticism.

I'm relistening to some old Magnus Archive episodes and I just got back to my absolute favorite Peak Jon Sims moment where he reads the case of a guy claiming to be stalked by a vengeful spirit of a spider he killed and Jon's like "End recording. He was literally insane and delusional the end. This guy's an idiot. Ghost spiders aren't real. So this was stupid and we don't care. Also the fact that he was found dead a week later with his corpse completely encased in spider webs is a normal thing, probably."

I love the second panel, mithrun's past self looking at him like "this bitch..." is so incredible ryoko kui it's a shame you'll be known for writing one of the most rich and detailed fantasy settings in all of manga bc you're so good at writing visual gags

*Probably no other world in the multiverse has warehouses for things which only exist in potentia, but the pork futures warehouse in Ankh-Morpork is a product of the Patrician’s rules about baseless metaphors, the literal-mindedness of citizens who assume that everything must exist somewhere, and the general thinness of the fabric of reality around Ankh, which is so thin that it’s as thin as a very thin thing. The net result is that trading in pork futures—in pork that doesn’t exist yet—led to the building of the warehouse to store it in until it does. The extremely low temperatures are caused by the imbalance in the temporal energy flow. At least, that’s what the wizards in the High Energy Magic building say. And they’ve got proper pointy hats and letters after their name, so they know what they’re talking about. — p 328 Men at Arms (Terry Pratchett)

So I've been making marionette puppets of my neighbors (I'm taking a class) and let me tell you my landlord/building manager was SUPER not prepared to see the wooden version of him (he lives on my floor) when he came in to fix my stove
Anon no offense but I think I would call the police if I found out one of my neighbours was making wooden puppets of me without my knowledge
