Had a LOT of fun putting this scene together. Actually bruised my knee because I acted out that one floor sweep thingy Boss does to Arackniss so many times trying to make sure I got it right. Also think I’m getting the hang of translating my own legs into Boss’s wolf legs. And that’s not even mentioning all the backstory I’ve been sitting on for YEARS that I finally got to leak out in this scene. Seriously go back and reread some Charlie scenes, her past pregnancy is suddenly going to seem very obvious. Oh and I think this marks the first time Arackniss and Henroin have actually been shown in the comic, sadly it’s just Alastor playing mind games as them. XD

Remember that Viv did an interview in september? It was pay-to-watch but the people encharged of the interview posted the video on youtube like a month ago. 

The interview is two entire hours about how to make your own animations, stories, art, comics, entertaiment’s bussiness,etc So I higly recommend it for those interested in an animation, art and/or storyteller career. 

Viv didnt say anything new about the lore of the shows, except for two topics:

36:00- The first circle is full of criminal establishments because all the sinners were just dumped in hell, so they slowly started to build the places they liked when they were alive, like bars, pot shops, porn studios, drug stores, etc. That’s also why that circle has different cities that look like real life places, because those were built from sinners who lived in those places before dying.  

1:49:00 - The hyrerarchy of Hell is this:

1. Lucifer

2. Charlie (cuz’ she is the heir to the trone) 

3. The seven deadly sins’ demons (Mamon, Beelzebub, etc) 

4. The Ars goetia demons

5. Overlords

6. Sinners

7. Succubus and incubus

8. Imps and hellhounds

Imps and Hellhounds are the lowest rank in hell and also the working class.

I love drawing these four together. All of their poses, mannerisms, body types, and details are just so different. It’s a great change of pace from the past several scenes where I had to draw a bunch of lanky old men pummel the crap out of each other. Which we’ll be returning to next update, don’t you worry! The Marked arc’s finally is fast approaching! All the storylines are going to start converging and a LOT of stuff is gonna start happening at once! So stay tuned and thanks for reading! ^w^

Feel like this scene went by really fast, guess that’s the downside of more action oriented scenes. Also I hope some of you veteran readers enjoy all the callbacks to previous jokes that happened to get woven into this one. That wasn’t on purpose, it just kinda happened. Also I really missed drawing Cherri and Baris, they’re poses are some of the most fun, and their dialogues always a blast to write. XD

See Husk isn’t dead yet! And Alastor finally appears in physical form next week. Felt like I’ve been cheating him out of screen time since most of his lines lately have been strictly telepathic. Anyway lot of things are gonna start happening at once, as Marked begins racing toward its conclusion. You might even get some information on how Lucifer died before the end.

HAPPY DAY OF THE DEAD!

The holiday comics are one of the few things that usually don’t fit into the actual timeline since they’d imply that more than one year has passed. But this may be one of the few exceptions to that. Mostly because it really sets up Charlie’s relationship with her parents. Also the Marked arc is set roughly in mid-november. (You can actually figure out the rough date of the comic if you count Vaggie’s “Good Vibes” entries and make a rough guess for Crymini’s birthday or graduation). So you could easily place this comic right before it (or right before the Relapse arc… …I might have to double check some notes XD).

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Easily my favorite holiday of the year! There’s no expectations or obligations. And there’s no wrong way to celebrate it! Go trick-or-treating, hand out candy, go to a party, or just stay at home and watch spooky movies or play scary games. Maybe mess around with ghosts, or complete strangers, or the law. And any stress or tragedy that might happen only adds to the celebration, you just can’t have a bad Halloween! And best of all it’s for EVERYBODY! It’s one of the few holidays we all get to share! So I hope even if you’re avoiding trick-or-treating or big gatherings due to covid, you still find a way to have a great Halloween tonight! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! ^w^

So I think I’ve stated before that I base a lot of Hilda and pretty much ALL of Molly off Nancy. Which made this scene a lot of fun to do because it was basically Nancy talking to herself. I love all of Nancy’s little mannerisms and expressions. Also it made me really miss her while I was drawing this scene. Luckily she’s home now and she’s waiting for me to finish this post so I can join her for dinner. ^/////^ <3
