Jimmy Ma of the US has been added to the Grand Prix of Espoo. (Finland has chosen not to use their second host spot.)

Nicole Schott has withdrawn from both of her Grand Prix events - Skate Canada and NHK Trophy. She is taking a break from competition.

Final results from the Lake Placid Ice Dance International

The US dominated the Junior event, claiming the top four positions and lead by 9-point victory from Leah Neset and Artem Markelov. Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin, in their international debut for Georgia, came up from second to win the Senior event.

The first official competition of the season has begun with the Lake Placid Ice Dance International.

US leads both fields, with Leah Neset and Artem Markelov leading the Juniors and Oona Brown and Gage Brown leading the Seniors.

Reigning World Champions Shoma Uno, Kaori Sakamoto, and Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan lead the Men’s, Women’s, and Pairs standings respectively. Reigning European Champions Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri of Italy lead the Ice Dance standings.

Sofja Stepchenko of Latvia won the Senior Women’se vent. Daniel Korabelnik of Lithuania won the Junior Men’s event, and Guilia Barucci of Italy won the Junior Women’s event.
