Valdangelo Soulmate AU

((This Au is where you get tattoos of things that are important to your soulmate, I saw on of Pjo and HoO but it had Solangelo so I did one of Valdangelo))

Leo has the word Bianca on his wrist and a deck of mythomagic cards and smiling because 

“Oh, my gosh my soulmate is a nerd!”

Nico has a hammer on the lower half of his arm and spent a lot of time thinking that his soulmate was Thor.

Leo’s tattoo changes, the cards disappear and a simple dark patch replaces it, with the words ‘Hell’ in Italian. Leo is really worried because he thinks his soulmate has died.

A tattoo of a flame appears on Nico, he asks Hazel and she suggests that perhaps his soulmate is a firefighter.

Leo’s tattoo changes again to a skull and cross bone, he asks Piper (since she’s daughter of a love goddess and all) and she says that his soulmate might be a pirate or something.

Leo getting really excited while making the Argo II because

“I might meet my soulmate while sailing!”

Leo and Nico being extremely busy during the war and hardly notice each other.

After the war, it’s a really hot day so Nico takes off his aviator jacket and that’s when Leo sees his skull and crossbones t-shirt.

Leo spends nights wondering whether it is him “He did go through Hell, He is Italian.” and develops a crush on the Sexy Hot Son Of Hades.

One day Nico and Hazel are in the garage and all is fine until

“Oh, my gods, Leo you’re on fire!”

Nico freezes

Fire? He has a tattoo of fire

He finally plucks up the courage to talk to Leo about it

There is a lot of awkward silences and stuttering

“S-so where soulmates?”

“I t-think so.”

“Does that mean we can makeout?”

Which earns him a glare from Nico

But they do makeout

and they do get together

it’s pretty gay

- leo showers really early in the morning and nico showers late at night (and sometimes these times collide. it’ll be like 4am and both of them are headed toward the showers)

- they have really different walking styles. leo always looks like he’s half skipping and just has so much energy overall while nico drags his feet around lazily

- nico loves sweets, leo prefers more savoury junk food

- leo is late to everything because he always manages to get distracted before he leaves. nico is usually on time even though he rarely wants to get out of bed but only because he can shadow travel (and leo constantly complains that this is cheating)

- when they’re sad, nico likes to isolate himself in his cabin whereas leo seeks out other people to take his mind off things
