   it was the same look of disappointment that found its way to her face as she shook her head in pure disbelief while hearing all the events that had transpired on poor leo’s night. “it's like ...  are you havin’ a laugh? why can’t you just INVITE us in?” a scoff followed her words having felt the same rejection at one of those human ‘supermarkets’ waiting for the people to invite her in and nothing. “i swear, the little sewer rats back home had more manners than most people now a days...” clicking her tongue in distaste. “right?! ugh! does it really take up a lot of energy to say th-” she paused from her sentence to count on her fingers to see how many words ‘come inside’ would be, struggling for only a few seconds before holding up three fingers confidently, “two little words?”

it was disappointment that etched itself upon leo's features as he huffed out a sullen sigh. " can you believe it ? " the vampire turned to winnie. retelling how his night had gone. " they didn't even invite me inside, " he announced as if it had been the rudest thing that could have possibly happened to him. and , yes --- he did ask to be invited into the club, only for the bouncer to look at him with utter confusion. "i'm telling you , no one has any manners anymore." thank god, some random person had been kind enough to ask leo to go home with them when spotting him loitering outside the establishment. the ONLY reason he hadn't gone hungry. "who doesn't at least say, 'come inside?' "
