Travel to Australia: FAQs on the Australia Visitor Visa
If you wish to travel to the Australian land, you need an Australia Visitor Visa (some nationals are exempt). HS Consultants Education & Migration, a Visa Consultant in Gwalior, highly recommend visiting Australia as it’s a wonderful country. Also, it will help you to decide if you will be able to settle down there with PR or not. With that introduction, here are some FAQs on the Australian Visitor Visa.
Tumblr media
Which Visa do you need to travel to Australia from your home nation?
The Visa you need to travel to Australia depends on your purpose of visit and the duration of your stay. All in all, there are five subclasses listed below.
Subclass 600 – Visitor Visa.
Subclass 601 – Electronic Travel Authority.
Subclass 651 – eVisitor.
Subclass 602 – Medical Treatment Visa.
Subclass 444 – Special Category Visa – New Zealand Citizens.
For detailed explanations and expert assistance on obtaining any of these visas, please don’t hesitate to contact the expert Australia Visitor Visa Consultant. Moreover, you will have an idea in this blog. Please continue reading.
What should you know about the Visitor Visa (Subclass 600)?
The Australia Visitor Visa under this subclass allows you to visit Australia and stay in the subcontinent for up to 3 months. Plus, you can conduct business or company activities. First, however, you need to keep these rules in mind.
You can’t sell goods (products) to the public in Australia.
You are also not allowed to work for or offer services to a business or company in the Australian subcontinent.
To summarize, it is the most common Visa for citizens living outside the Australian subcontinent who would love to visit family, friends, and loved ones for up to 3 months.
What should you know about the Electronic Travel Authority (Subclass 601)?
The Visa under this bracket is valid for up to 12 months (1 year) after your application has been granted. Your Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for Australia allows you to travel in and out of Australia as much as you wish for up to 3 months at a time till your Visa is valid. The Visa is suitable for you if:
You are a regular tourist.
You are traveling to Australia for business visitor purposes.
What should you know about the eVisitor (Subclass 651)?
The eVisitor Visa is for you if you have a passport from a specific nation and want to visit Australia for recreational or business purposes. The visiting rules are the same as the eTA visa, i.e., you can enter and exit the nation as many times as you like for up to 3 months at a time. This grant is legal for 12 months (1 year).
The basic details of this and the eTA Visa can be a little complicated as you have read it. To clear all your queries, contact the experienced Visa Consultant for Australia.
What should you know about the Medical Treatment Visa (Subclass 602)?
This one is self-explanatory. As the name suggests, the Subclass 602 – Medical Treatment Visa allows you to visit the nation if you have specific medical procedures or appointments due in Australia.
What should you know about the Special Category Visa (Subclass 444) – for New Zealand Citizens?
You can obtain the Subclass 444 Visa under the following conditions (please note that both criteria must be met).
You are a Kiwi (New Zealand citizen).
You hold a valid and unexpired Kiwi passport.
With this Visa, you can visit the Australian subcontinent to work, study, or travel.
So these were all the FAQs for the Australia Visitor Visa. As HS Consultants Education & Migration, we hope that you got valuable information from it. Thank you for reading.

Australia Migration 2022: Benefits Of Working In Australia
Many people migrate to Australia every year to work. But do you know why it is so? Please read this blog if you also want to see why it is an excellent choice to work in Australia.
Why should you work in Australia?
Here are the many benefits of working in Australia in brief; obviously, there are more technicalities to it which are more complex than you might think. For more information about all these benefits or any doubt, please contact our Visa Consultant at HS Consultants Education & Migration.
Tumblr media
Holiday pay: The first thing about working in Australia that would put a smile on your face is that you can get 20 paid leaves per year exclusive of the national holidays that the government gives, whether you are a full-time or part-time employee. However, you don’t get this pro if you are a casual worker or are paid hourly wages.
Long service leaves: Speaking of leaves, you can avail of additional 8.67 leaves after completing ten years of service in Australia, making your total allowed paid leaves to 80.69 days/ year.
Paternity leave: There are no particular rules or guidelines regarding this one in the Australian subcontinent. However, employees who qualify can take this paid leave via the maternity leave program that its government sponsors.
Sick pay: Most companies offer 5 to 10 days of sick paid leaves at will, but there are no such guidelines. However, these may be included or excluded in the customary bereavement leaves.
Pension benefits: If you live and work in Australia, you can get many benefits after retirement all across the nation. You can also gain from a superannuation fund or a retirement savings account. All you have to do is fill in your age and residency information to get these incentives.
Group insurance is a benefit you can get by working in an MNC in Australia since large multinational corporations offer you a personal insurance plan, including continued salary and lump-sum death and disability coverage.
Health insurance: Since the Australian national government has increased taxes and decreased allowances around five years ago, you will now get complete health insurance payments or subsidized pay if you work in a large company, preferably MNC.
Childcare facilities: Another benefit that you will now get from working in the Australian subcontinent is that you will get care facilities for your children, such as daycare or childcare.
Flexible working conditions: It works exactly as it sounds, so you can get more time off with families, flexible working hours, and even work from home.
Social security benefits: You get these benefits via Centrelink (a branch of the Department of Human Services), which offers most of the social security benefits under the Social Security Act of Australia. It includes retirement and disability benefits, including career compensation and payment.
Are you excited to work in Australia now? Don’t rush; you need an Australian work visa for it. As HS Consultants Education & Migration, we can help you successfully receive a work visa. Contact our Australia Work Visa Consultant in Gwalior today.

PTE English Language Exam: A Complete Overview
Before applying for a student visa to study abroad in countries where English proficiency is mandatory, you require submitting evidence of your English language mastery. You can do this by showing your PTE results.
Tumblr media
What is PTE?
Pearson Test of English, also known as PTE, is an English language test designed to test non-native English speakers' English proficiency (of course you). The international students, who wish to enroll in a foreign university where English is mandatory, such as Study in Australia by enrolling in an Australian university, require clearing a PTE exam. The PTE exam has four bands.
● Listening.
● Reading.
● Writing.
● Speaking.
The Bands of PTE
The PTE tests your English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Let us explain these sections of the test to you in brief.
Listening: This section of the PTE exam tests your listening and attention-paying skills. You will hear an audio recording related to a particular subject, like humanities, and then write answers per the instructions.
Reading: This band tests your reading skills along with your knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary. To finish this section, you must answer some questions, but don't worry, you don't have to write anything here as the questions are drag and drop, MCQs, etc.
Writing: This band purely tests your English language writing skills. The questions include writing an essay, describing an image, writing about yourself, etc.
Speaking: This section tests your English language speaking skills. You will receive a score based on your pronunciation, grammar, and confidence.
Please note: the speaking and writing sections are combined to form 1 band, but you need to score individually well in both.
PTE Test Format: Here's the PTE test format.
To summarize the test, it has the following features.
● It is taken in a test center.
● It is a computer-based test with a headset.
● The test takes 2 hours.
● Your assessment is based on practical English.
● The test session is single.
There are 20 types of questions. The test is divided into three parts.
● Speaking & Writing. (54-67 min)
● Reading. (29-30 min)
● Listening. (30-43 min)
PTE Scoring System: The PTE exams carry a maximum of 90 overall marks, and you can get a maximum of 90 marks in each band. If you score overall around 77 marks, you will have a good PTE score.
Why PTE is Better Than ILETS
PTE is a much better option than IELTS, another English language proficiency test for students wishing to Study in UK or other nations where English mastery in reading, writing, speaking, and reading is an essential requirement. Here are some points, which prove that PTE is a much better option for you if you wish to study abroad in an English native country.
● PTE results are fast. You can expect to get your results within 48 hours.
● You can choose between regular test dates.
● You can also book your test at the last minute.
● The test experience is stress-free with a 2-hour computer-based exam, simple booking, and a friendly test environment.
● You can get free resources, preparation packages, and scored practice tests from the official PTE website.
Do you need PTE coaching? Yes, because even though it is stress-free and easier than IELTS, it is still an English test, which even natives find challenging.
Why should you take PTE coaching from HS Consultants Education & Migration?
Our PTE Coaching in India can help you crack the exam with high scores. Here's why?
● We have experienced teachers with an 83-85 overall score in PTE.
● We pay individual attention to each student.
● The timings are flexible.
● The coaching is result-driven.
● Interactive learning with the smart class.
● Daily class activities.
● Updated study material.
