Just hours before the start of Eid al-Fitr celebrations, while children anxiously awaited the morning festivities, the Israeli army massacred the Abu Yousef family in the Nuseirat central Gaza Strip , resulting in the killing of at least 13 civilians most of them children.
All the tarp you see are human bodies. How many of those tarp covered bodies didn't make it to see their 18th birthday? How many didn't get to see the 1st birthday of their child? How many didn't get to celebrate retirement? These are human lives being ripped away at an alarming rate.
There should be no reason you can't step outside without seeing a decomposing child, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, friend, or lover.
They had lives and yet they are buried next to the sidewalk? Would you be okay with your loved one being buried next to the sidewalk? No. No you wouldn't.
It kills me how everyday the posts and content about Palestine decrease because of how many people are getting killed everyday.
It also kills me how many stopped boycotting or has never even tried to boycott.
Somethings are so small to do and easy yet people don't even bother when it's a genocide that has been going and going and going not since October 7th but for decades.
Israelis set up a jumping castle and organized a picnic with popcorn and cotton candy at Karem Abu Salem border crossing to prevent trucks of humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.
Meanwhile, more reports have been surfacing regarding deaths from starvation in Gaza, especially among children and infants.
Displaced children have been forced to seek makeshift shelter in chicken coops after their tents succumbed to flooding. This tragic reality evokes painful echoes of history, reminiscent of the deplorable conditions endured by Jews during the Holocaust, confined to horse stalls and sleeping on wooden shelves never intended for humans.
The phrase “never again” lost its meaning shortly after World War II, as the world witnesses a disturbing repetition of past atrocities. Despite solemn vows, the world’s involvement in supplying arms only exacerbates the suffering of the oppressed. It serves as a stark reminder that complacency and inaction pave the way for history to repeat itself.
In January 2024, Dr. Thaer Ahmad, traveled to Gaza for a medical mission. This was his fifth trip to Gaza, but nothing prepared him for the atrocities he saw at Al-Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
"I've done so many of these trauma procedures in the three weeks that I was there. I've done more so than I've done in my entire 10 year career."
Dr. Ahmad sat down with AJ+ and shared his story.
An excerpt from the last seconds of the video : "...Despite the destruction, the damage, the death, the horror, it's a special place with special people there."
(This is why I am trying hard to spread the truth of Palestinians and how they are wonderful, beautiful people unlike anything the west propaganda tells the world. Were they really a race of bloodthirsty, barbaric people, I would still speak out against a genocide against them, because genocide is bad and that's not how you're supposed to handle a conflict at all. But not only are these people being put through a genocide, these people are also warm, friendly, hospitable and goodhearted. They are showing us what humanity looks like at its best while the Occupation that is oppressing them paints them as human animals and senseless terrorists. And that just makes it even worse than it already is.)
So if you ain’t been following what’s been happening in LA…
These towers are the Ocean Wide Plaza. I think they sit in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. They are vacant. Basically a bunch of luxury apartments in a city filled with homeless. A bunch of taggers have been hitting this place up before the city demolishes these towers instead of actually putting people into them.
Honestly, I love graffiti and would rather look at this kind of art over any museum exhibit but that’s just me. Just wanted to share some news of some artistic expression.
