How to take pictures of your bunnies 🐰📸 ⠀ As a photographer student I spend a lot of time to find my style, be creative and unique. The most important for me is an aesthetic style in my photography. ⠀ 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔 I use mood boards for all my photoshoots no matter it’s bunnies or landscapes or abstract photography. I like to a mood board in Pinterest. Bunnies don’t like to take pictures so I plan my photoshoots before and always have plan B. I borrow different ideas from arts, photographs, movies, other pet IG accounts, newborn photography so it helps me to create my own style. ⠀ 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 I prepare props /checking camera settings / lighting before photoshoot and always have plan B if something is not going to work. Especially, it's important when you take pictures of newborn bunnies. Use of color is significant to know because it helps to make your photos more aesthetic and interesting. ⠀ 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝒐𝒓 𝑰𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆 Over the years, the iPhone has gotten pretty damn good at taking decent shots; however, the best digital camera will still outperform the best iPhone in many situations. I use camera because quality and manual camera settings give a lot of opportunities to create a great shot. iPhone has many limitations. ⠀ 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆/ 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒌𝒆𝒚 I take majority of my bunny pictures in my small studio that I created because I like studio lighting and it's safer for bunnies to be inside. However, if you prefer outdoor pictures you need to experiment with different time of the day to find out what time works for you.The easiest way to use morning hours and "golden hours" for photoshoot. ⠀ 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 Remember - children and small animals move fast! There are several options how to capture your bunny motion such as panning, sport mood, long lenses, Image Stabilizer function, shutter speed. SHOULD I REHOME MY BUNNY? ⠀ We, Hug Bunnies Rabbitry, has our bunny application form where one of the questions is “If for any reason, you decide you are not able to take care of your bunny, what are you going to do?” ⠀ We are getting different answers... One of the popular answers is “I will try to find a suitable home” ⠀ Unfortunately, if you answer that your application will be rejected Because: ⠀ First of all, it means you didn’t read our sales policy. ⠀ Second, if you are planning to get a bunny and you already have these thoughts that you rehome your bunny - it’s wrong, you are not ready for adopting/purchasing a bunny. ⠀ We are totally understand that life can be so difficult and unfortunately anything can happen. However, we also have our pets - 2 dogs, our pet bunnies and we would never betray them no matter what. ⠀ Rabbits, dogs, cats and other beautiful animals have a connection with us- people. They trust us from their first days of life, they love us unconditionally! They are not just pets, they are our family that we can’t imagine our lives without. ⠀ Unfortunately, some people buy rabbits impulsively and don’t realize how much work it takes to take care of the bunny or their bunnies are not what they expected. It’s one of the reasons why so many rabbits in the rescues or shelters. Some people believe that bunnies are cheap and “easy” pets that is why they like to buy them for $50 and only after some time they realize that bunnies are long term commitment that they are not ready for. Some people like to get a bunny because they believe bunnies are perfect starter pets for their kids until kids get bored. ⠀ Before adopting/ purchasing a bunny, talk with your family/friends about your decision, think about financial part - taking care of the bunny and vet bills are expensive, think about your schedule and if you have enough time to spend with your bunny- it’s not acceptable for bunnies to be alone for 8 hours. ⠀ If it’s your first bunny, we highly recommend you applying to be a volunteer in the rabbit rescue that you could spend time with bunnies and feel if a bunny is a perfect pet for you. ⠀ Animals deserve being happy and loved. ⠀ xoxo (at Love you forever) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMu_DliFx3D/?igshid=1jexogfydjy4m
