This was announced after the temple authorities held a meeting to discuss ways to prevent the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) threat on the hill shrine. In case the authorities find someone suffering from these symptoms, they will screen him/her with thermo screeners at the Srivari Mettu and Alipiri and also extend them medical advice and care.
Medical camps will be run by the Medical Wing of TTD and the health department at both the footpath routes. These camps will also be run at the Alipiri toll gate and sufficient paramedical staff will be appointed. There will be medicines and screening equipment available for the sake of pilgrim.
If someone had booked Arjitha Seva ticket, they will be given the option to change the dates or refund on cancellation. The same will be applicable for pilgrims who had booked Rs. 300 Darshan and accommodation booked in advance till 31st May.
If you want more information or if you have any doubts related to the cancellation of tickets, you can send an email at [email protected] to get a quick response. Also, you can call the TTD call centre staff to more guidance in this context.
Even NRIs and foreigners have been appealed to postpone their pilgrimage to Tirumala for the coming 28 days from the day they stepped in India. This is in view of Government of India not issuing visas to foreigners till 15th April 2020.
To make things easier for the pilgrims, TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) has introduced the facility to cancel pre-boded tickets for special Darshan, accommodation and sevas.
A decision has been taken by the TTD to refund the special entry darshan fees of 300 INR (charged per head), advance fees paid by the devotees for Arjitha Seva advance booking and accommodation in Tirupati, Tirumala. The amount will be refunded if the devotees either postpone their Darshan date or cancel their tickets till May 2020. This is not a usual thing because as per policy, TTD doesn’t refund such payments if the devotees cancel their plans.

Why is Tirumala a popular sacred destination?
Tirumala, a small hill town in Andhra Pradesh is home to the magnificent Sri Venkateshwara or Balaji temple. With more than 35 million pilgrims visiting the temple every year, Tirumala is one of the most popular Hindu pilgrimage sites in the country.
In Tamil language, Tirumala translates as Holy Mountains (Tiru means ‘holy’ and Mala means ‘mountains’ or ‘hills’). There are seven peaks in Tirumala and the Venkateshwara temple is situated on the seventh peak called as Venkatadri.
Highly Revered Lord Venkateshwara
As per Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishnu incarnated as Sri Venkateshwara for the salvation and upliftment of humanity. The name Venkateshwara means Lord of the Venkata Hill. Referred as the supreme lord who destroys sins, Venkateshwara is also known as the Lord of Seven Hills.
It is believed that Kubera, Lord of Wealth lent him money for his marriage with goddess Padmavati (incarnation of goddess Lakshmi). In remembrance of this, even today the devotees donate money and gold at the temple so that Lord Venkateshwara can repay Lord Kubera. These donations have made this temple the richest temple in the world.
Inside the Balaji Temple
Balaji or Lord Venkateshwara’s statue stands under a golden dome, wearing a golden crown, embedded with diamonds and a large emerald (supposed to be the largest in the world).
Customs and celebrations
It has been declared by the shastras, Puranas and other religious scriptures that one can attain enlightenment just by worshipping Lord Venkateshwara. You can see thousands of devotees waiting in long lines (sometimes ten or more hours) just to see the deity for less than two seconds. Many devotees also get their heads shaved off as an offering to Lord Venkateshwara.

10 Keys to Success That Will Positively Change your Life.
10 Keys to Success That Will Positively Change your Life.
Set Clear Goals and Timelines
You’ll frequently hear individuals discuss a future objective as some distant thing that will one day show. Here’s reality, however: The normal life expectancy is just 78 years. This implies you just have a couple of decades to make your stamp. It’s an ideal opportunity to set objectives with limited due dates. This is the thing that fruitful individuals do. Would you like to possess a business? Set an objective of owning your own business in five years. Would you like to venture to the far corners of the planet? Set an objective of going by another nation each mid year. Effective objectives dependably have timelines. After you’ve done that, note down all the move steps you should make on the off chance that you are to achieve those objectives. At that point… GET TO WORK. In the event that it works for you, make a dream leading body of the considerable number of things you need and audit that day by day too. This is 1st Keys to Success.
Do and Dare
“The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The ‘sure-thing’ boat never gets far from shore.”
–Dale Carnegie
Is it true that you are setting out to do the impossible? There ought to never be a period in your life when you’re not endeavoring something inconceivable. The outlandish extends you and demonstrates to you what you can progress toward becoming.
Do and set out, escape your usual range of familiarity and extend yourself. Extend the measure of work you do, extend your desires, and extend your creative ability. This is 2nd Keys to Success.
Surround Yourself With the Right People
Achievement isn’t something you can get without anyone else. While you at last characterize your own way, you’re significantly impacted and supported by the general population around you. Until the point that you understand this and begin to connect, you’ll discover it’s almost difficult to get through. “On the off chance that you attempt and do everything yourself, you will come up short,” fruitful business visionary Tim Sykes says. “All in all, I need to put my trust in others, and that is my specialty.” Ask yourself this inquiry: Are the general population nearest to you driving you the correct way or keeping you down? They’re either completing either, so ensure you encircle yourself with positive. This is 3rd Keys to Success.
Consistency
Much the same as anything throughout everyday life, in the event that you don’t deal with it reliably, odds are you will lose it. In the event that you aren’t steady with your eating regimen and exercise schedule, you will lose any great wellbeing and great constitution you had. On the off chance that you aren’t reliable in your connections – odds are you’ll have issues. Same is valid in business and enterprise – if your message isn’t steady, if your hard working attitude and yield isn’t reliable, how would you hope to have predictable development and achievement? Think about that. This is 4th Keys to Success.
The Ability to Listen
Much the same as you can never learn enough, you can never listen enough. Tune in to other people who have succeeded, and flopped before you. Tune in to the colossal instructors and pioneers. Tune in to companions, family and business partners to frame better connections. Tune in to input and feedback to enhance yourself, your business and your outcomes in any aspects of your life. Mr. Know-It-All never remains at the best, since he never has his eyes open to things that might not be right, things numerous other individuals see. Be available to tune in, sufficiently humble to concede overcome if vanquished, yet sufficiently solid to take after your gut nature unfailingly.  This is 5th Keys to Success.
