btw, Paramore playing Brick By Boring Brick on Eras is soooo insane - It's a song about like, needing to tear down the magical world you've built within your own mind because you can't handle what the Real World is like and all the heartbreak & pitfalls of fame within it. It's SUCH an early Taylor / Speak Now coded song, and I'm so shocked they're playing it, because despite being my favorite song of theirs ever it's a very random b-side not many people know. But the lyrics and concept would resonate incredibly hard with both Taylor and her fans, I think. And I am so completely in love with that and how much thought they clearly put into their set to think to include that.

you know what I respect and love about Taylor? is that you know, when I was a kid and I wanted to be a singer (as any good theater kid does) I came up with all these crazy things I'd do if I had a concert tour and an unlimited budget. Like, "I'd release an album in the middle of the tour and redesign the whole thing and then a UFO would come down and look like it was really abducting me as I levitated on the stage" sounds like a thing an 8 year old would say when just talking nonsense with massive ideas in their head that would never come to fruition. And the way Taylor's tours have ALWAYS been are so true to that. Her imagination about what she can do on a tour is so boundless. She brings it to life flawlessly. No idea seems like it's Too Much and I think it's just such a showcase of what can happen when you ADORE what you do so truly to your core, and I feel sooooo blessed that the person with the resources to make everything like that happen is someone with so much love for their craft and such cool ideas
