In 10x01 Carol asks Daryl to run away with her on the boat and be pirates, but Daryl refuses her, saying boats and their tiny cabins aren't for him.

And then, in 10x21 Carol finds that he's been reading a book on pirates... I'm literally broken

He loves her so much 😭 and her little smile at the end. I wanna cry.

Thinking about the first time Caryl “get intimate” and how it will probably be ladened full of tension and hesitance equally. Both Carol and Daryl deal with feelings of not being good enough for the other which would only culminate during a storm of hand brushes and swollen lips.
