So after more than a decade saying I’ll write something, and a more than a handful of years into posting just prologues and disappearing off into the ether, I’m finally in a mental headspace where I believe I can finally have the time and temper to write and keep writing. The thing that shall not be named that happened in this hellyear put things into perspective - if I die all the stories I have in my head will be gone, and frankly, if I don’t write them no one will. I tend to venture into rarepairs or fandoms with little to no fanfiction production. Hopefully in the future I’ll work in an area that unfortunately puts me into the frontlines of every pandemic that will come after this (or if this fucker continues, this one itself) and if I go to my grave with all the fics I want to write unwritten my ghost will never rest. So here we are. I’m putting one of my stories in hiatus until I can go back to my home country to pick up my notes (I was supposed to do that this year, but now I’m going nowhere) and I’ll work on another that I actually started working back in 2013 (jeez), much more polished of course. Let’s see how long I can keep it going before class work overwhelms me.
