btw Sophie being OP is literally the point. Sophie is the most powerful elf who has ever lived, and she's losing this fight anyway. She has to be MORE than her powers to win; she has to learn to trust others, and she has to learn to make hard choices, and she has to learn to lead. Her powers were never meant to win the war; her perspective was. But Sophie thinks her powers were meant to be what did the saving, so when her powers aren't enough, she blames herself, and everything she does is to try to get more powerful because she's convinced that's how she's going to save everyone.... that's the whole point!!
fucking sucks ass that detective is a subtype of cop or always some type of law enforcement. a detective should be someone who is a master of disguise, a weirdo, socially maligned, and hated by the police. he should solve the cases using his ultra specific knowledge about geography, linguistics, human biology, and cigar ashes

Keefe telling Sophie "I'm always serious, Foster. Especially when you think I'm teasing" makes me so happy when I think of all the times he jokingly flirted with her.
To any suicidal followers I may have: This is a sign to not kill yourself. You are loved and the world is special because you are in it. Keep holding on.
