Listen…I need him to be okay. Waller cemented a place in my heart after he took on the Swifties. I will follow that man to the end of the earth for that.
Yes, but I wouldn’t specify happy. If the place is that terrible to work at, the happy people are either the ones already half out the door, or they’re the ones making everyone else miserable.
I’m not really sure how to feel about Mercedes Mone’s “run” so far. I know…it’s been two weeks. I think my hang up is that they have her working as a face, and I’m guessing the plan is to keep her face for a little bit. I thought maybe the night of her debut they were going to pull a bait and switch, but that obviously did not happen.
Heel is very much more naturally suited to the gimmick. And if we’re being honest, promos tend to be one of Mercedes’ weaker areas and I feel like it gets exposed especially when she’s a face.
I’m trying to be patient and see where things go, but….I don’t know. I felt a little underwhelmed with her debut. And AEW is not familiar to me, so trying to wrap my brain around the promotion as a whole is something I’m working on.
Controversial take: I’d love to see most, if not all, social media platforms banned.
They cause a lot of problems but one in particular is this idea of echo chambers. Obviously depending on what content you view and interact with is going to create your algorithm, so you get more similar content. All this does is expose people to the same ideas they’re already hearing and enforcing that those ideas are right and the other people are wrong, or that there is no room for discussion. It’s really not a healthy place to be at because people really don’t know how to disagree and engage in conversation anymore, and I 100% think that social media just feeds right into that.
I genuinely don’t want to sound like a politician or smarmy, but progress doesn’t happen without conversation. I’m going to guess there is a limited amount of people who have changed their minds because someone told them they were stupid and wrong.
It’s genuinely concerning the amount of people I see on Twitter going like, “They can’t ban TikTok! That’s where I get my news!”
It’s a fair bet to answer, “No” on this one because 9 times out of 10 you are going to be asked to do something or someone is coming to invade your space.
My cats are the total opposite. I have two and they each sleep on one side of me by my legs most nights. They sleep so close I can’t move, they essentially pin me under the blankets. And even when I try to roll, they either don’t move or they’ll readjust to be pressed against my legs again.
Previous cats I’ve had would for sure bolt if I so much as thought of moving.
