Day 2: Dreamy

Toya dreams that night of a girl singing proudly on stage. Her voice echoed throughout. He dreams of walking up onto the stage and singing along with her, their voices singing in harmony together.

Toya dreams that night of long green hair, he dreams of running his fingers through her hair, detangling it and braiding it. He dreams of her smiling as she thanks him with a blush on her face. Making him smile gently at her.

Toya dreams of holding her hand, calloused and rough from gaming but still soft to touch. He dreams of intertwining their fingers and gently swinging them back and forth as they walk, rubbing circles onto the back of her hand.

Toya dreams of kissing her, he dreams of holding her face in his hands, gently caressing her cheeks as if they’re the softest thing he’s ever touched. He dreams of pressing his lips against hers, he imagines that they’d be a little chapped due to how often she licks her lips while gaming. He wouldn’t mind.

Toya dreams of Kusanagi Nene that night. He dreams of singing with her, he dreams of braiding her hair, he dreams of holding hands with her, he dreams of kissing her.

He wakes the next morning wondering where all these feelings came from. Not knowing when they started. He finds that he doesn’t mind the feelings and as he gets ready for school all Toya thinks about is Kusanagi Nene.

Day 1: Arcade Date

The bright, flashing arcade lights illuminated Toya and Nene as they played game after game enjoying each other in the meanwhile. They had already been at the arcade for an hour or two and it was getting late. So, Toya had decided to win a plushie for Nene to finish off their date.

Nene had declined at first, saying that it wasn’t necessary, but Toya insisted, saying that he wanted her to have something to remember this date by. Nene blushed but ultimately agreed, saying that he should do whatever he wants.

Nene pointed to a green and blue matching teddy bear set, which Toya set his sights on. After Toya entered a coin into the machine he hovered the claw around inside reaching for the two teddy bears.

Toya easily picked up the teddy bears and got them out of the machine. He handed them both to Nene before she stopped him, telling him to keep the blue one so he would also have something to remember this date by.

They both looked at each other, blush’s high on their faces, but still smiling widely.

As they walk out of the arcade together, Nene reaches out and intertwines her fingers with Toya’s, feeling the warmth emanating between their two hands; they both blush but smile widely as they walk home together. The sun setting in the back.
