signalRot - Red arrow inn (Experimental)
🕑 1 min / Text: Franklin
Release Date: Oct. 10, 2023
To be honest, I have no idea how to create such beautiful experimental sounds, and all I know is that I'm absolutely loving what I hear! Shimmering square waves and electronic layers meet glitchy textures, and it literally feels like listening to an old and worn-out cassette tape.
Folks, I'm so into signalRot's latest release 'Red Arrow Inn,' and even though it's not a very melodic tune, the riffs are captivating and the whole vibe is definitely unique! A magnificent instrumental arrangement to add to your must-listen playlist, give it a shot:

Kai Tak & There's Talk - Flood the Harbour (Indie Rock)
🕑 1 min / Text: Franklin
Release Date: Apr. 23, 2024
Kai Tak isn't new to me; I suppose I've grasped the connection between the artwork and the band name. Kai Tak was also the name of the old international airport in Hong Kong that closed in 1998, which might be depicted here. Sorry, off-topic, let's talk about the music!
"Flood the Harbour" is a new release and a great collaboration with Olivia Lee, aka There's Talk. I really like the expressive way of singing, while the track also really manages to stand out with its shoegazey guitars and its psychedelic soundscape. Check out the song below.
