fatima aamer bilal, excerpt from moony moonless sky’s ‘i mother it, the absence of her ii. i was hard to bear from the very start.’

wanting to have sex with me is so funny because i’d just talk for hours about how eroticism is all about flirting with the idea of sex and then i’d make you watch the star wars prequels with me.
“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who are alive.”
I don't get the need to lie and distort. The war in Gaza is bad enough on a purely factual basis that you don't need to make anything up. If anything, the lying and distorting weakens and damages the cause and arguments being made, and provides the people and entities you claim to oppose and despise with deniability and more ability to justify and challenge, and enables the worst actors all around.
“One time somebody told me that they loved me and I felt my heart stop. Then it began to beat once more because I accidentally told them ‘gesundheit’. Because how can you love me when you cant even tell me my favorite color.? How can you love me if you don’t know that I despise using the one bunny ear rule when I tie my shoes? How can you love me if you haven’t seen me at my worst, broken down sobbing into my hand as I try to hold the fragments of my sanity together? How can you love me if you don’t find my smile, no matter how goofy it is? How can you love me if you don’t appreciate the way I cant walk a straight line to save my life? How can you love me if you won’t stay up for my Disney marathons and belt out lyrics? How could you have ever loved me in the first place?”
— S.n (DONT tell me you love me if you cant tell me my favorite color.)
