The stormtroopers of Japan have arrived back on Swedish soil. As always when visiting Japan: one of the best trips ever. We experienced the amazing Japanese hospitality known as omotenashi everyday, the trains and train culture, the great food (ramen, yakitori, kushiage and more), the Cremia soft ice cream, Kobayashi and the JBS vinylbar, the gaming arcades and pachinko slots in Akihabara, the owl café, the LowRider Supershow in Makuhari, waking up shaking in your bed due to an earthquake that made our 45 floor hotel sway and creak for 20 minutes, summer breeze and t-shirt weather at 20 degrees, freezing blizzard winter, autumnal beauty, the Bonsai Art Museum in Saitama, checking out knives at Kappabashi street, Golden Gai and the Metal & Movies bar, the Samurai Museum in Shinjuku, drumming and chanting with monks in a Buddhist ritual at the Zojo-ji Temple, learning how to count in Japanese, buying ninja gear at MannenYa, hanging out with Pike and Simon Gärdenfors, great breakfast sessions at Subway, listening to Kjell Höglund and just chillin’, the drinking session with Japanese salarymen in Shinjuku, being interviewed by Swedish radio about the earthquake, the stunning Tokyo view at night from 200m up at the Metropolitan Government Building, winning manga figurines in Akihabara, four floors packed with toys and stuff at Nakano Broadway, walking the streets of Tokyo getting lost and looking at people and the vast Bladerunner style city landscapes, and so much more… We did a lot of stuff during this week. Too bad I couldn't meet with all my Japanese friends! Next time! And loads of thanks to @lowrider_coloring_book and Kristus for being awesome travelling partners and great friends. No fuzz, just fun! We’ll be back. #indytokyo2016 (på/i Stockholm-Arlanda Airport: Terminal 5)

Last night in Tokyo, finishing off with a nice yakitori evening in Shinjuku with @lowrider_coloring_book, @pike_nsa, @gardenfors and Jesus Kristus. Time to start saving for the next trip to the land of the rising sun. No peace for the wicked. #indytokyo2016 #blurthepopband (på/i Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan)

Two days ago we walked around in the summer breeze, 20 degrees, t-shirt, shorts... Today it's freezing cold, snowing (first time in November in Tokyo since 1953 or something) and just hellish weather. We went to MannenYa and bought some working man's ninja gear in order to survive. #teenagemutantninjaturtles #ninjasneakers #cameltoe #indytokyo2016 (på/i おもちゃのマンネンヤ)

Today we attended a Buddhist ritual at the Zojo-ji Temple. All three of us took part in the drumming and chanting for half an hour, at times a magical entrancing experience. Japan is king! 👍🚀🙏 #indytokyo2016 (på/i Zojoji Temple)
