tbh though, not that you can analyze his career - we've tried- but it feels like he has been building up to this in the last couple of years (you could argue he's been building up to it for decades but particularly in the last few years)

It's about the androgyny, it's about the obvious physical differences that clearly mark the vulnerability of a queer monarch, the religious trauma and the active deconstruction of a false identity handed to you at birth.
