A heads up: it seems that kissthegoghuleh (deactivated awhile ago) is back on Tumblr and on good terms with lorraine and taylah. They even posted the meme "surprise bitch, you thought you seen the last of me?" Sooo.. careful.. that reads to me as someone who hasn't learned their lesson from the incidents..
Of course not, you seem surprised. These people won’t learn, as far as they’re considered it’s all those mean old trans people and cancel culture harassing them for no good reason uwu. But it’s up to us, or well, anyone who doesn’t stand by what they’ve done, to not support them, not pay attention to them and treat them the way they deserve to be treated.
very much inspired by @infcstissumam s Cursed Concepts post about new Ghouls luring in lost clergy members by mimicking human speech and then trying to keep them as pets :3c
This is the first time I drew specific Ghouls (Rain and Aether), I hope I did okay haha
current ghoul incarnations because i'm most familiar with their masks and love drawing them lol
One year & some change since this giant rat started making all the rules!! A remake of a similar piece I did last year within an hour of Copia being announced as Papa; I was high off the fumes
cursed concepts: newly summoned ghouls having no concept of human languages and parroting certain words without understanding the true meaning in order to get a response from the humans around them
Imagine this. You’re wandering through the labyrinthine halls of the cathedral in an effort to find your way back to the sibling dorms. But every turn seems to bring you deeper and deeper into the ministry. Soon enough, you noticed the finely polished marble dissolve into uneven slate and mortared stone.
Your mind gives pause at this discovery, but after a moment of pondering, you think it’s just a kink in the ecclesiastical refurbishment project - you remembered hearing about how they had to stop progress abruptly after the passing of the Third. Something about uncertainty and creative differences, you didn’t care to think too hard on. Your nerves were at ease, but this comfort wouldn’t stand for long, as things seemed only to grow stranger.
The further you delved, the less lamps there were to guide your path. Soon enough, it seemed like the shadows outweighed the glow of the dimly swinging lanterns, and you had to pull out your phone to make sure you didn’t trip over yourself. That’s when you heard it, resounding from the darkness ahead of you, a distinctly feminine ‘hello?’
for a second, you realized how… familiar but unplaceable this voice sounded. Still, you didn’t think much of it over the relief of possible help. Abandoning any thoughts of trying to retrace your footsteps, you walked, then jogged in the direction of the voice.
“Hey! I’m sorry, I got turned around down here looking for the sibling dorms - do you think you could point me in the right direction?” Silence, then again the feminine voice piped up.
‘Hey!’ It sounded chipper this time and decidedly off, but relief outweighed the growing dread in your gut, and you resumed your pace. Turning sharply at a left corner but stopping when it hit you like a wall. No one was there, there were no more lights ahead of you, and come to think of it, none behind you, you were only using your phone at that point, and a chill washed over you. That voice… you finally placed it, it was like a magpie, human at first glance, but not really and whatever made it had led you right to it.
