meme: peek into my character’s paststatus: accepting!!

“so, what’s your family like?”

her expression darkens when the lady asks her that question, which was somewhat startling. “dad’s six feet under. all mum thinks about is work, which you would know.” she tells the secretary, who was keeping her company as she waited for her mother. “she ruined pretty much everything i had going for me, since i’m the heiress to the company and the family fortune.” she rolls her eyes, taking a sip of her coffee. she was way to sober to be talking about this. 

“didn’t even ask for it but thanks to her, here i am, stuck in that godforsaken institute where there’s a whole collective dedicated to the supernatural – which is bullshit by the way. my older brother, on the other hand, is a sexist piece of shit. enough said.” she swipes a piece of candy from the bowl on the desk, unwrapping it and popping it into her mouth. right after, her mother’s assistant opens the door and peeks out, telling her that she could come in.

she gets up and smiles at the woman. “but we do look like a picture perfect family so that’s all that matters, right?”

her father was probably rolling in his grave if he heard what she just said. 

lisa laughs at that thought.

soy milkshakes never tasted as good as the regular ones. perhaps she should’ve gotten another flavour, but it was too late. so, she found herself sipping on her soy drink while bitterly watching baekhyun enjoy his regular milkshake. there wasn’t an important reason as to why she was walking around town with him, she just suddenly felt a craving for a milkshake and he happened to be free. they have been aimlessly strolling around hwajang for an hour or so, talking about rather bizarre topics to kill time. 

as they talked about the recent spooky happenings at amji - which lisa did not believe at all, a familiar figure passes by them and she stops in the middle of explaining why the supernatural thing the school had going was utter bullshit. “hey baek, wasn’t that the one we’re looking for?” she asks, taking a sip of her drink after pointing at the guy who just walked past them. it turns out that he is the guy they were looking for.

so here they were, in the back alley of some hardware store with their target cornered. it wasn’t necessarily an ideal situation, to be honest. lisa wasn’t looking forward to spilling her milkshake if she had to throw a punch or two. the soy had kinda grown on her.  that, and the guy - namil, was not being very cooperative. “cap,” she visibly cringes at the horrid alias that slips through her lips with far too much ease. “go work your magic with him before i lose it.” she says, leaning against a wall as she sipped on her drink. “don’t go too easy on him though. he’s an ass.”
