The invention of television doesn’t come from a single inventor. It was invented by a group of people who work hard to find out ways to transmit image via wireless. The invention of television started in year 1831 where Joseph Henry and Michael Faraday who discovered electromagnetism in the electronic field. Besides that, right after the successful invention of wireless telegraph by Marconi in 1897, people began to question is there any possibility to send over images and sounds wirelessly? Special credit was given to George Carey for his idea of transmitting images with the use of multiple circuits. Soon after that, W. E. Sawyer came out with another idea to send images using a single wire by using high speed scanning and flashing method. In 1922, Edwin Belin who got the patent of sending images by wire and fiber optics came out with his invention by producing a mechanical device for a modernize type of television. It works by focusing all the light flashes towards an electronic mechanism. The electronic device consists of a selenium element to take all the focused lights to produce sound waves. Now that we have known how the main idea of television was established, now let us look at how inventors further develop the idea into a better innovation. At this point of time, there was a debate on who was the inventor of modern television (TV). We have the first inventor, Zworykin. He was given the title father of modern TV. He invented an electronic device called image scanner which used a tube to scan electrons in 1923. The second inventor was Farnsworth who designed his own scanning tube to exhibit TV signal transmission to everyone. Due to his success, he was given a patent in 1930 while Zworykin was only able to get his patent in 1938 because initially his invention had faced some problems and not functioning. The invention of television does not stop there. From mechanical television, inventors worked hard to find out ways to improve the technology from time to time. Until 1897, we had Karl Braun, a scientist with his new innovation called cathode ray tube (CRT). This technology was incorporated in the technology of television from mechanical to modern electronic TV. Then, from black and white images, again Zworykin came out with his proposal to have color television. His invention was recognized in 1925 with a patent. These are the history of television innovation with all the inventors. Thanks to the invention that we are able to watch TV today easily.

Battling everyday disappointments and struggles can make a man fall to his knees and give up everything he has worked hard for. But on the end of the day there would still be hope to do better. This is a world where competition made history.

5. Honest and trustworthy – some say that eighty percent of an entrepreneur’s time is dedicated to pooling and attracting customers. This may be true because without the customers, the business will not exist. You have to be honest and trustworthy so that you can develop good will.

Did you know that Thomas Alva Edison failed more than ten thousand times before he successfully made the lightbulb work? Ten thousand failures. If he had a fear of failure and given up because of this, he would not have been able to do it. He said “I have not failed. I have just found ten thousand ways that won’t work”. It was but mere feedback to be considered while he tried something else. For him failure was not an option.

Each time something does not work the way you wanted it to, is that a failure? One definition of failure is lack of success, but is lack of success the first or second time that you try to do something mean it is a failure? Not necessarily. Thomas Alva Edsion would have been a miserable failure considering that he failed ten thousand times.

This article discusses how failure can be used as feedback to achieve your objectives. In fact, it will probably be some of the best experiential learning that you can get. When something you did does not work, it is not a failure. It is just not the best step to have taken. This simply means that you now have to figure out what is the better step. Then work on it. What if this step also does not work? Again you get back to thinking and strategizing. Why did this step fail? How different must your next step be to make this work?

The very act of looking at each faiure as a feedback will change your outlook to handling the issue at hand. It does not mean that you may not feel bad about it. It is just that you will be able to replace this feeling by working on what is the next step to take. Instead of beating yourself up over how things worked out, you just get on with the next action to be taken.

When failure is treated as feedback, it becomes one of your best tools for improving. It provides input for error correction. If everything worked well, the learning is minimal. You know how it works in one set of circumstances. You may be misled to believe that you are an expert at this when, in fact, there may be a lot more finer points to be learnt. Not suggesting that you keep failing to learn. Celebrate the successes, but if failure hits, just learn from it.

It is important to have a mechanism so that you are able to detect signs that may indicate that a failure may occur even before it does. Saying that failure is feedback does not mean that you wait till things fail before you start learning from it. First step is to be clear as to where you want to arrive. Write down the steps that are required to arrive at your destination. In your plan, identify checkpoints. They are to help identify if you are heading in the right direction. If you find that you are going off in a tangent, then do an error correction to the path that you are taking. With these continuous adjustments, the chances of failure are reduced.

Next important thing to know is that you are not a miserable failure if you abandon something that does not have the value that you initially thought it had. It is important to identify under what circumstances you would want to abandon whatever the project you are working on. The other possibility that can happen is that you find that your objective may expand or change for something better and sometimes bigger.

For example, contrary to popular belief, Thomas Edison didn’t “invent” the lightbulb. He improved upon a 50-year-old idea. While many people had worked on it, no one had developed something that could be used for practical home use. Thomas Edison went on to invent an electric lighting system that contained all the elements necessary to make the incandescent light practical, safe, and economical. While Thomas Edison is known for the lightbulb, did you know that to make it work, Edison actually had to invent a total of seven system elements that were critical to the practical application of electric lights as an alternative to the gas lights that were prevalent in that day? Failure was not an option for him.

There are also ways that you can gain more knowledge from other people’s failure, meaning the experience they have gained. If you are working on a project, there may be available “lessons learnt” from previous projects. Go through them. Learn from books. Access the internet. You will be surprised at the extent of knowledge that is available for free in the internet, including articles, forums and blogs.

Treat each failure as an opportunity to learn. Use this desire to learn to overcome your disappointment. You will have no time to be disappointed if you are working on your next possible action. Just do it. You will soon find yourself treating each of this as just another piece of the jigsaw puzzle. You just need to figure out how to fit it in to get the big picture.

By setting up a small business, one expects limited returns, but by setting up a big business, one expects to earn more profits. The choice will depend on the availability of capital and resources. Guarantee – There is no guarantee or assurance that the business venture will become a success. However, if the business proves to be a success, the entrepreneur will reap all the payback and remunerations in terms of the profits. In case of a failure, the entrepreneur too, will also be the one to bear the losses.

Responsibilities – Assuming business responsibilities is definitely not a simple operation. Not many individuals are willing to take huge responsibilities or all the risks. Only an experienced and knowledgeable individual will dare to become an entrepreneur. The ultimate purpose of an entrepreneur is to earn profits.

Risks – An entrepreneur has to take risks when investing in and managing a new business venture. Generally, the entrepreneur decides which product or service to offer, obtains the essential amenities, employs the necessary personnel, acquires production supplies, and provides for the capital. The choice will depend on the availability of capital and resources.

Decisions – As the most important person in a business venture, an entrepreneur needs to decide on which product or service to offer. Believe it or not, there is actually a tried-and-true formula for establishing yourself as a respected inventor. It begins be creating credibility for your invention.

Priority # 1 – Creating a Prototype

If anything separates players from spectators, it is this. Having a prototype – a real, working version of your invention – says unequivocally that you are for real and have serious intentions of entering your field. It takes your idea from, as Entrepreneur says, “your mind’s eye to the palm of your hand.”

Their article on prototyping offers some helpful guidance on how to approach the process: “So what exactly should a prototype look like? First, it depends on your idea. Second, it depends on your budget and your goals. If possible, it’s great to start with a handmade prototype, no matter how rudimentary. Reliable sources of market research include industry trade journals, periodicals, and library/academic databases that include access to market data.

Another good step is to avoid overextending yourself. There is a temptation among many inventors to hit the market in a huge way. They want to get their product in as many stores as possible right up front. While the excitement is understandable, this is not always the smartest choice. A better idea is to start off by selling in one or two stores and use that to test the response. How did people respond to your invention? Were sales high? Are you maybe pricing your invention too high, or low? These questions are easier to answer on a small scale. There is an old piece of marketing advice that applies here: fail early, and fail cheap. If you can learn from mistakes at smaller stores, you can apply that wisdom and approach the bigger retailers with the most important thing of all – a track record.

It would be dishonest to say that gaining credibility is easy. However, if you are diligent and smart in your approach, it is eminently possible. Don’t give up.

Have you ever failed at something in your life? I’ll bet that you have. All of us have and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Failing is perfectly normal.

Many of us went to school and were actually punished for making mistakes. Now you may find it hard to believe, but it really is impossible to succeed unless you have first failed. That is, as long as you are willing to learn from your mistakes.

Most people will try anything once. If they fail, they will likely never try again. Or, if they do try again, they won’t let anybody know about it!

Many of the most successful people in our society today have failed many more times than they have succeeded. The only difference between them and you is that they kept at it until they found a way to make it work.

It is said that Thomas Edison “failed” at his attempts to invent the light bulb over 10,000 times. When he was asked how he kept going, he simply believed that what he had in fact done was discover 10,000 ways NOT to invent the light bulb!

He never looked upon any of his attempts as failures. Instead, he saw them as a chance to learn and today you and I can sit by a lamp and read this article because of this man’s belief in success and his not believing in failure!

One thing you can do right now to begin moving yourself more in the direction that you want to go is begin looking ever action you take, every move you make as having no other possible outcome than being successful.

Did you get that? Think of EVERY action you take, every move you make, every phone call you make as a success, no matter what the outcome!

You will always succeed at producing some sort of result. It may not be exactly what you had in mind, but you will ALWAYS succeed at producing some sort of result.

Thomas Edison looked at every attempt to invent the light bulb as a success, even though he did not achieve what he had set out to accomplish. Think about it.

Had he considered his every attempt a failure, how many failures do you think he would have endured before he would have quit? My guess is that you’d be sitting in the dark right now if he had.

I believe that the only failure in life is the failure to take action. If you do nothing, nothing will happen. If you do something, anything at all, you will succeed in producing a result. In other words, you will create success in your life.

What if you created success in your life every single day? How would you feel?

What if you learned that success is yours to be had each and every day, and that with each little success you knew that you were one step closer to an even bigger success. Would you stick to it? Would you build on each day with more and more passion for what you do?

Would you soon be living the life of your dreams? You bet you would. And, you can, if you will simply give this some thought and then take action and begin looking not to your failures, but to every success you create each and every day of your life.

So from this point forward, set yourself on a new course. A course for success in all that you do. Look to your actions as successes, learn from every action you take and keep on taking action until you get to where you want to be in life.

The formula is simple, and the results will literally blow you away once you begin to apply this new thinking to your life.

The terms Entrepreneur and Manager may sound similar but they are actually two different roles. For some companies, only one person plays both roles where the Entrepreneur also acts as the Manager. In other businesses, the Entrepreneur hires a Manager to run his company for him.

In order to give a clearer distinction between these two positions, allow me to highlight some points.

The Main Differences

The Entrepreneur is the owner of the business; therefore he bears all the uncertainties and risks involved in operating the organization; while the Manager is a hired employee and does not face any direct risk.

The objective of the Entrepreneur is to create and innovate business ideas. The Manager puts these ideas into action and implements the plans.

The Entrepreneur starts a business venture for profit and has a personal stake in it. The Manager provides his services to run an enterprise that is owned and established by someone else.

The Entrepreneur’s income is more uncertain because it is contingent on the performance of the business. On the other hand, the Manager, being a hired employee, can expect a fixed monthly salary because his compensation is not dependent on the performance of the organization.

The Entrepreneur is not faced with an option to misbehave at work because he has personal interests in the business; while the Manager may cheat by not giving his best at work because his income is not determined by the company’s performance.

Being the company owner, the Entrepreneur is not necessarily required to have certain educational qualifications or specific qualities like innovative thinking, high accomplishments, risk-bearing abilities and forethought, although all these are very important for an entrepreneurial mindset. As for the Manager, it is mandatory for him to be educated in the fields of management theories and practice.

The Entrepreneur may commit mistakes or fail and be responsible to no one but himself. However, the Manager makes every effort not to make mistakes. As much as he can, he will try to postpone failures.

Most often, the Entrepreneur has limited experience and knowledge and therefore his perspective of certain business practices may be narrow. On the contrary, the typical Manager streamlines the organization with professionalism and brings invaluable fresh ideas, perspectives and approaches to troubleshooting and problem solving.

Unless he transfers the ownership of the business to someone else, the Entrepreneur is not at a risk of losing his position in the company; but the Manager may be fired and lose his job if the Big Boss is not impressed by his management performance.

To sum these all up – In a company, the Entrepreneur can be the Manager, but the Manager cannot be the Entrepreneur. The Entrepreneur is passionate about developing and innovating business concepts in order to put his organization to a higher level. He has a choice to employ a Manager in order to perform some of his roles and functions like goal setting, policies and rules, etc. But even with such arrangement of duties, the Manager cannot replace the Entrepreneur because the Manager has to perform in accordance to the guidelines set by the Entrepreneur.

Both the roles of the Entrepreneur and Manager are very important in running a business as they create the “culture” in the workplace. If the leaders are excellent, they can model such excellence to their team. A good leader should not require his subordinates to be something that he himself is not.

Understanding these distinctions will be very helpful in starting a business or in streamlining an existing company. There may be other points of difference for these two roles but these are the main ones.

Ao montar este motor a pré-combustão fiz certas alterações modificando a câmara do pré-combustão interna e isolando dois cilindros direito e adaptei-o para queima de óleo vegetal.

Para chegar num bom desempenho, o óleo foi preciso passar por um sistema altamente adaptado para tal, pois através de um registro Te de metal que era usado em aparelho de solda oxigênio e carbureto, o tal fazia as conversões da gasolina a óleos vegetais. Para aquece o motor era usado à pena gasolina, já pré-aquecido motor, então feito á conversões para o óleo vegetal. Fabricava motor a pré-combustão externa a fim de queimar óleo vegetal, e adaptando um motor Montgomery a gasolina a movimentar a pressão através de uma pequena caldeira a vapor de água, fazendo assim ele a movimentar a pré-combustão externa para serem usada mais para frente num gerador de energia elétrica, de preferência em Rondônia quando eu for morar em Rondônia.
