See the thing is they JUST hired 2 new people. If a company is financially struggling, they shouldn't be signing new people.

I work for a tech company. The market has cooled off. Google aand other companies fired people. The company I work for didn't fire anyone but they stopped all hiring except for replacing employees that decoded to leave.

I was excited about the worth it boys reuniting but not at this cost

I'm as disappointed as most people but I legit can't believe some people's reaction. I just saw people say they had too many employees and ought to fire some of them???? Like seriously, those guys came from buzzfeed, they know how NOT to treat employees and part of that is firing them willy nilly and understaffing proportionally for the amount of work. Like do people are acting as if 25 employees is basically Google or something

people can be so rash and heartless sometimes it was really hard to see, like these are people too. yeah i’m glad in the apology they addressed how desperate they were to not lay off any of their staff it really demonstrates how valuable those employees are to themselves and their company and i hope they feel that appreciation
