Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately 9.4 inches (24 cm) in diameter) through the defender’s hoop (a basket 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter mounted 10 feet (3.048 m) high to a backboard at each end of the court) while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.

Table tennis, also known as ping-pong, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth across a table using small rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. The game is now intense and both of the corresponding players are in their highest determination peak to be able to be in their victory.There was a activity which is a “Mapeh Day” in our school which is the Cordova Catholic Cooperative School and the game ping pong was held at the school’s quadrangle.

Teamwork makes the dream work…

Our school, Cordova Catholic Cooperative School have engage in some sort of activity called “ Mapeh Day ”. This is our 1st ever Mapeh Day held mainly in our school campus and in the Camolinas Gymn. One of the activities that support our Mapeh Day is the Basketball held in the Camolinas Complex wherein all the Grade 10 students, in each section should build their own team with their corresponding number of people. Indeed, basketball have helped them grow as a person - spiritually, mentally, and most of all, physically. Yet, another successful event has gained our full support and is implemented victoriously!
